Schedule Downtime!

One skill I practiced and worked on in 2023 was scheduling downtime for myself. I define downtime and time for just me. What does time look like when I am in downtime.

No work.

No house projects.

No friends.

No $HIVE.

No Social.

Yes reading.

Yes workouts.

Yes sports.

Yes eating out.

Yes meditation.

2022 was a rough year for me. I felt like I always had to be doing something for work or trying to break free from work and making money on the side. I was able to leave that job for a much better one but I still had to schedule the downtime so that I did not burn out again.

I have to find time to recharge. It’s super important to me.

I perform better if it happens.

Go to your calendar right now and schedule some downtime for yourself.

Let me know how you feel.

Make 2024 even better for yourself.

This happens to me some times but specially with Hive, recently I have been moving into just daily posting during weekends and use them to lay out my weekly plan, I doubt anyone can go full blown every single day of the year none stop, same with my sleep I have decided not to push myself when Im already tired but still got stuff to do, prefer to rest and be more productive latter on, on Hive there are a few users who often complain why ppl are not using the platform as much as they do but to be hones most ppl with a job and other things to do can keep up every day unless Hive become their job, take care health is above anything ✌️

I know what you mean about burnout... and in difficult years, finding that downtime can be very difficult because you're giving time to something that doesn't help make sure the electricity stays turned on, or the next three days' food is secured.

But it's important!

Tomorrow is "off time." Heading with a friend to visit someone who has a retreat on a nearby island.

=^..^=

I get that. I am lucky to have the time for sure.

Oh those are good to do indeed! 2022 was also a rough one for me. So much so that I quit everything by 2023 and then had a spiritual renewal. 😆 What a life we live on Earth huh?
