SPS airdrop is almost over!

I cannot believe that the SPS airdrop is almost over!

I thought it would never end. I have been enjoying those coins every single day that I have either staked or moved over to BTC.

All airdrops have to end at some point though. Now is the question about what will happen after.

I just watched a great video from @achim03. You can check it out on this post here.

This got me thinking about my strategy. I think I am going to focus on the splinterlands plots. I think prices will drop and I would like to pick up a few of those over the next few months. I am really looking forward to that part of the game and I think there is a lot of opportunity.

I also hope I can pick up some cheap chaos legendary cards as people who were holding packs for the sps points will open and sell me their cards on a discount!

I would love to hear your strategy with the sps airdrop ending.

Food for thought, I have not even thought about it yet!

I haven’t bought any land. I’m assuming that spells and items will be available on secondary markets.

Meh, I’m just a Silver league player on Splinterlands. If I move up, my strategy might have to change.

Yes my kids learned that the hard way this season. They moved up and got killed in the higher league

The land plot markets on hive-engine and on wax are not so dynamic and it's possible that there will be some bargains once the airdrop is over.

Thanks for the mention :-)

I'm not sure. As @achim03 explains very well, after the airdrop ends people might start selling DEC and extra packs, which could drive down all prices.

At the same time, I can see SPS mooning after it ends, as the FOMO hits. And I can see that driving up prices of all Splinterlands assets despite the selling pressure that comes with the first point.

I could see both happening.

Things I'm considering: If land prices fall, I'll jump on that, as you mentioned. If DEC falls enough, I'll buy some and use that to buy packs cheaply. If SPT falls, I'll pick up a shit ton of it.
