We had an eagle visit my neighbors tree today!
This was pretty sweet. My kids thought it was amazing.
This bird did not mind at all that all the kids in the neighborhood where running around and trying to get pictures of it. It just minded its own business and stared us down.
I have never seen an eagle this close before that was not in the zoo. Super cool and seemed really big.
Its talons were massive too.
The neighbors think it is a young bald eagle.

I'm out in the country now so we have hawks and owls on the property. I can't get enough of the birds of prey. Such amazing creatures.
But seeing a bald eagle a few times up close, nothing even comes close.
Cool. I’ve never seen an owl before in the wild. My son and I were biking the other day and heard one and searched forever but could never find it. Someday!
