Working Out Sick

Do you work out when you are sick?

I have historically not worked out when I am sick. Even if I have only a cold I would avoid the gym. I wanted all of my energy to go towards me getting better.

I figure this probably cut out about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks of gym time last year. This year I am going to workout as long as I do not have a fever.

I have had a little head cold this week and just kept going to the gym. I think it's been good for me and gym has a sauna and sitting in the heat seems to help me feel better as well.

Push through is my new moto for working out when sick.
