Happy Monday from Japan. In this blog post I bring you pics from my weekend plus 5 Reggae/Dancehall videos I checked out over the weekend. Yeah, I coulda made two posts out of this but hey....First off lets start with...

Pics from the Weekend

Yup, I sold all my Bitcoin and bought a Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet. I got a pretty good deal too. Only costs me $37,000 USD, of course I bought it cash because a loan just won't cut it for me. Yeah Bitcoin is going to zero for those of you who didn't know....get out now. Joke Joke, I have now clue and I didn't sell my Bitcoin. This Benz belongs to a friend who owns a private English school here. The funny thing is he ordered the Benz six months ago and it arrived right in the peak of the pandemic when people where losing their jobs. But hey, who cares what people think, right?

In the pic above you can see a faint rainbow, but hey, it is better than no rainbow. Many believe rainbows represent luck around the corner and hope for better days. Well I haven't had any bad days recently, because I don't dwell on the effery, and neither should you. 😅

*In the park this "Shibaken" and his owner were posted up on a stage like platform looki ng all cute. This dog is as Japanese as they get. A white Shibaken is also sort after as one can be seen on a TV ad for a telecommunication provider called softback ( tech peeps shpuld know that name). In the ad series, the dog even has a son that is a black man LOL. I hear the BLM crowds fuming already. It is quite a funny set of ads that has been going on for ages.

I tried hard to get a picture of my friend's kid. His name is Kylie. His Dad is from NYC and mom is Japanese. Unfortunately his Dad can't come to Japan at the moment due to the border restrictions for foreigners entering Japan. Hopefully he can make that trip soon. Man the ronnies got the world shook.

Here is Kylie's mom, Eri. She is holding my youngest son and he looks quite comfy. Eri has lived in NYC so she speaks a bit of English. She was playing tag with the kids ( my twins,Kylie and a stranger from the the park). The boys couldn't help but "tag" her on the butt 😆. Boys know a good thing when they see it,even at that age. Kylie wasn't very happy with that and the attention they were getting though😌.

Here is my dev for my Ecommerce store. I have known him for about 7 years. Now, I could build a website myself, but I feel when you are in a country as different as Japan, it is good to have a local dev to understand certain things. We talked about switching my cart system to Woocomerce as I am currently using Welcart ( a system made in Japan.) The thing is, if I make the move, all my customers will lose their login info, but I will have a universe of plugins to use. I have made one switch of my cart in the past as I used to use Open Cart made in the UK. While it was good, it didn't satisfy the Japanese market especially when it comes to address fields. But it did have a built in multilingual setting to add different languages so a customer could view it in their language of choice ( as long as you made the translation) Small things like that make a huge difference in sales. With Woocomerce, this doesn't seem possible unless you pay for a plug in 😒 decisions decisions. ( Yeah don't worry reggaeJahm, I will be getting to you soon, gotta focus on what is sure to make a stream). Kenta owns his own Web design company and they are rolling in the doe. Websites are pretty expensive to build here, but you get quality works.

Sunday Dinner, Korean/Japan Style

Yeah I should make some Jamaican dinner on a Sunday, but I really don't have the time or energy so we went to a Yakiniku spot in town. These places can be pricey, but the mayor for this town gave out free coupons to get people going back to restaurants. It worked.

No rice for me, just meat, veggies and some liquor. Not saying there is anything healthy about that but I just didn't wanna get bloated form rice with all this good meat and boos around😁

Oh this pic? It was above the table at the yakiniku Joint. I thought it looked artistic. Right? Yup, that was most of my weekend in pics. And now.....

Let's dive into the JAHMS

Kevin Downswell teams up with some mega reggae stars in this remix of Stronger brought to us by KFC. Yup you heard that right. The track features Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, TessAnne Chin,Wayne Marshall, Richie Stephens, Christopher Martin and more. A very inspirational track to help us keep the vibes in these trying times.

Vybz Kartel keeps on dropping the hits though behind bars, but rumors say that might be coming to an end with his move to another prison. In this vid shot in the UK by the producers, he makes it known that, that girl is ours, no matter how you try to hard her from what she wants, she is gonna find a way. Our Gyal is hardcore Danchall at its finest. Don't watch this one at work.

Maestro Don teams up with the general Bounty Killer for pioneer. This is a hard hitting song that reminds us how Bounty has launched the careers of many Danchall acts. Bounty is indeed the Godfather of Dancehall or we could say the emperor. This track is real Dancehall at its finest from the riddim to lyrics to the vid.

Tarus Riley's healing is a tune for the times and was written during the lock down ad curfew periods in Jamaica. the world really needs some healing, whether it be from covid 19, or racism. We need more tunes like this.

Stylo G, Aji and Busy team up for a stunna summer anthem called live for the summer. Busy signals verse mentions Bitcoin which I found very interesting coming from a Dancehall artiste of his caliber. Listen out for that part my crypto peeps.
