Yes and what a mind shift it is. Took me almost 14 years to shift ๐Ÿ˜‚

And when you think about it most of our parents and grandparents in the Caribbean used to bath in the river not giving a care in the world who sees.

LOL

Swimwear? What's that?? Hahaha

But what about those naked beaches in Europe? I'm not sure if I'm ready for that ๐Ÿ™ˆ.

You know that had a few in Jamaica. Probably still do but as a kid it was right beside the family beach on a resort. My brothers and I used to peep over there ๐Ÿ˜‚ the memories. Some crazy stuff happened at those hotels.

It's a big mindshift for real. My first experience was in my first year here. My co-workers and I went hiking and then we all went to the onsen afterwards. My plan was to avoid the onsen part because there was "no way I was going to get naked infront of my co-workers". You know when there's a beach trip in Jamaica, not everyone goes in the water. Some just hang out. Well, this was different. Onsen time was for everyone. Haha!! I got in and couldn't remember being so conscious about being naked. I was no way comfortable and had to get in my bath when I got home. My shoulders were stiff! Lol!
After a second onsen trip though, I realized it can could be a relaxing experience. Still not totally comfortable but once I get in and there aren't too many people, I can relax without much care. Still prefer to do it with just family.

Haven't experienced it yet, but can imagine as I'm very shy if it comes to being or feeling naked.

..."no way I was going to get naked infront of my co-workers"...

I'm like "there still needs to be a boundary between what I'm willing to share with colleagues ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ.

It feels awkward. Lol
I guess if done often enough, itโ€™s like nothing. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hahaha same like cold weather I suppose. Those who've grown up in colder weather, are walking around in barely there clothes and here I am layering my clothes ๐Ÿ˜‚.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸคฃThatโ€™s an interesting example.
I still canโ€™t understand people wearing shorts and half sleeves in cold, freezing weather.

The shorts with bare legs I also can't understand, but I do hope to get used to the cold enough so I can wear skirts and dresses with leggings. Now I don't even want to try, but I'm so jelly of those who do here ๐Ÿคฃ.

Lol!! Give it a try. Some of those leggings are probably very warm. Who knows? Maybe in a few months youโ€™ll also be wearing shorts and half sleeves then others will be jealous of you.๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‚
