Hello adventurers!, today I took inspiration from a new and already well-known monster that has given a lot of talk in the community, this new creature has in its first phase an adorable appearance for those who do not know, I am referring to the "Zingu" penguin.

Through the adorable design I have created my fan art about it, so please check it out and give me your opinion about it!

As I've been reading about this new character I realized that his fins have a layer of ice so strong that they are used as sharp weapons, originally they were diamonds or so...

The design of my drawing started with the face, since that is always where I usually shape the rest of the body, I drew some big eyes accompanied by a face with a serious facial expression.

Compared to the original monster that is so cute, I decided to make mine more intimidating as if he was ready to fight, something important is that I made an ice stone on his forehead, because this one has important powers of his element.

As I already had the face ready now I started to draw the adorable frozen fins, so I made some curves with lines and that's how it was taking shape...

Later, it was necessary to put more lines on the fins to give that style of sharp beaks like polished ice, almost like a diamond style.

To already finish my sketch, I put a few ice gems on her neck to form a necklace that looks great. By the way, I also drew him some penguin paws, keeping the adorable style.

With the quick selection tool I made the first layers of color, for each area of the body, with colors similar to the original.

Once I started to give details to the ice that is on Zingu's forehead, I gave it some shadows and glitters with a blue color palette.

As you can see, I did the same procedure for the fins, because I gave glitters to the ice that covers them.

It was time to give details to the fur of this penguin and I decided to make waves by deforming the dark blue lines to assimilate that these were his feathers that cover his entire body, something that I also do with Zingu's belly, because just look how beautiful it looks!

I was already in the final stretch to finish my artwork, but I had to make a suitable background, first I started to draw a wide and icy lake, but I discarded that idea because the dark tones didn't fit me with Zingu's fur, so after trying several options I discovered that the light backgrounds were better, so I started painting an icy landscape...

The layers of color were clear and one with deformed lines to give that feeling of a snowy and pleasant place, also with a little calm I drew some footprints of the penguin in the snow to give more sense to the drawing.

The frozen designs was something totally new for me, but I have made my best, effort to make a good background for the Zingu design that I have drawn, I would like to see an opinion from you in the comments about my fan art, it would be great. Thanks for stopping by to visit my art gallery!
