A foggy and rainy trekking trip to the top of Ngoc Le 1720m

Hello Hivers in the Outdoors and more community, I and my friends have just had a trekking trip to the top of Ngoc Le mountain 1720m above sea level. After reading my recent post about my overnight camping trip in the forest of Ngoc Le mountain. My friends asked me about trekking to the top of it. And I will tell you about this trekking through the photos below.

Once we had started the trek, the weather was still pretty good. Although it seemed a bit overcast, it wasn't raining and it was cool. It is good weather to trek.

At the first stage, everything went smoothly, the road was quite flat. We went through a very beautiful pine forest.

At this altitude, the climate is cool all year round and is very suitable for the growth of pine trees. From there, I was able to see the whole surroundings.

After about 30 minutes going through the pine forest, we started to enter the old forest. And as soon as we set foot in there, it started to rain. Although the rain was not heavy, it caused a certain discomfort. However the forest did look more beautiful in the rain.

The roads have become slippery but they have not been able to discourage us. There are traces of motorbikes there, I guess it's the traces of local people's motorbikes going into the forest.

The deeper I went into the forest, the more I was overwhelmed by its beauty. Well preserved, the forest has rich vegetation. We can easily find old poplar trees here. The carpets of green moss, giant forest trees and huge orchids show that they have been there for many years.

After about an hour or so of walking in the jungle, we came out of it, rested a bit and prepared to trek up a steep path to the top of the mountain. Unlike the fairly flat path in the forest, the path leading to the top of the mountain is very steep. It has devastated many members of our team. Our team consisted of 7 people, 3 of them decided to give up because they were not used to thin air and felt exhausted. My advice is that you should practice before going hiking. The higher the altitude, the denser the fog, we couldn't see each other beyond 20m.

Although the trek was quite strenuous, the results were totally worth it. The nature there is very beautiful and pure. It was very foggy, so I couldn't show you the beauty of the surrounding area.

Wow! I would like to do some hiking at some point. There are no mountains anywhere close to where I live, it's very flat.
The forest has a mystical feel in the rain. Almost like you are in the spirit world :)

Tropical forests are always amazing, and rain is a challenge that is always encountered in tropical regions, even so you have managed to conquer this height for an incredible view, the spirit is always👍
