A great overnight camping trip with friends in a beautiful place

Hi Hivers,
I just had a great camping trip with my friends, which I want to share with you right away. The camping ground was a green lawn located in Mang Canh commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province. It was a large and beautiful lawn at the edge of the forest and surrounded by a small stream and rice fields. To get there, we first traveled by van, then we had to pack our stuff to walk across a suspension bridge to reach the campsite. When we crossed the suspension bridge at the same time, it shook quite strongly, which scared one of our party members because it was the first time she had experienced walking across such a suspension bridge. Anyhow, then we all made it to the campsite.

My first impression of the campsite was that it was peaceful and beautiful. Mang Canh is a small commune of Kon Plong district where many Xo Dang ethnic people live. They earn their living mainly by growing rice and other crops and raising livestock. In general, they lead a very simple life and in harmony with nature. The area where we had camped was at the edge of the forest and had a view of the surrounding small villages. Rice fields and small houses are the highlights of that area.

After arriving at the campsite, the first thing we did was pitch a tent and light a fire. While the male members of our group set up their tents and went to collect firewood, the female members prepared food for dinner. It is fun to spend time with friends preparing dinner in such a place in nature.

After we finished cooking, we had a dinner together. At night, the weather had turned colder with fog, but that made our dinner even more cozy next to the fire. Our dinner was quite simple with grilled chicken, sticky rice cooked in a bamboo tube, sweet potatoes, grilled eggplant, garlic butter bread, some vegetables and fruits. We also drink some wine to keep us warm. After dinner, we continued to sit around the fire to talk. And then we sang and danced together. It was a great time with friends. Each of us was very happy. Until midnight, when some of the members were tired, we went to bed, some of our members chose to sleep outside to watch the stars, I chose to sleep in the tent because it was quite cold to me.

After a good night's sleep in a place in the middle of nature, I was very eager to enjoy the early morning there. The atmosphere there was extremely quiet, and everything was covered in a thick fog. Thanks to that, the landscape becomes more and more poetic. I went around and took some of the photos below.

The silence covered a large area. I heard nothing but running water, insects and birds. The flocks of birds that flew out from shelters in the nearby forest to forage also created a beautiful landscape.

After enjoying the fresh and quiet atmosphere, we went back to the campfire to enjoy the warmth and cook instant noodles for breakfast. Although it was just a simple breakfast, we were all very happy. After breakfast, we cleaned up the campsite and went home to prepare for the new day's work. Me and my friends had a great time camping there. I hope my photos help you understand this wonderful camping site.

The camping you spent involved with many interesting things and experience. I find the place where you choose to enjoy your camping is a wonderful place where we can see the real beauty of nature everywhere we walk. I do dream about camping. The feeling as you set up tents, get the campfire roaring, and learn about the world around you, must allow you to make a good memories with friends that will last a lifetime. What an amazing thing?
