A great visit to a strawberry garden
Hi Hivers in HiveGarden community, I guess this is the first time I post in this community. As a nature lover, I often go out to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. But sometimes I also feel refresh and relaxed when I go into a garden. And today I went to visit a strawberry garden of my friend.
It's a quite large garden, and he built green houses to protect the strawberries from hoarfrost. Even though the weather and the soil in Mang Den are perfect for strawberry, the hoarfrost is a big challenge for farmers here. That's why if you go around Mang Den, you will see many green houses over here. People have built green houses not only for strawberry but also for plants in general.
Today the weather is good and this is the strawberry season in my place. So that's why I decided to visit my friend's strawberry garden. As you may know, strawberry is not popular in Vietnam because we are a tropical country and most of the country has hot weather. And so strawberry is kind of luxury fruit in Vietnam. But with an altitude of over 1200m above sea level, Mang Den is a great place to grow strawberries. At this time every year, Mang Den welcome many travelers to come to visit, pick up and try strawberries.
And here he grows 100% organic strawberries. And he plants them in big greenhouses. For easy fertilization, he grows strawberries on long shelves. He uses coir to mix with fertile basalt soil to help keep water for a long time. And to ensure irrigation for the large strawberry gardens, he also installed automatic irrigation systems.
Like most of Vietnamese people, I had a great time at my friend's strawberry garden. He showed me the way he planted and fertilized strawberry plants.I was also allowed to go around picking and tasting some ripe strawberries 🍓. I really like the taste of them. They are just slightly sweet and very fragrant. I can understand why many people like them.

Nature lovers always find joy and happiness whether in the wilds or in an easy-access ones like gardens. You are lucky to have learned how to nurture strawberries and pick some. This place is really enjoyable and pleasnt to come and check.

I love this. Gardening should be everyone's passion, that's my own perspective point of view though its not possible but we all need food to sustain life. Thanks to the ones who dirty their hands so the world has something to eat.

Yes the farmers work very hard, so that we have food to eat. But sometimes their effort is undervalued.
One of my favorite fruits. though we have some areas that grow strawberries, Still it's very expensive in Philippines. Thanks for posting this, awesome!🤩

Here strawberries are grown in some places but they are not a widespread crop and therefore tend to be expensive. But I love them. Gorgeous pics!

It's the same in Vietnam. There are just some areas in Vietnam where we can grow strawberry, that's why it's expensive here too.

Omg. Now I feel like eating strawberries. I miss them so much. I guess we will have to make a small trip to Vietnam to get some of these delicious organic strawberries. Here in Cambodia, they are very hard to find. And if you find them they are often very sour and super expensive. Have a beautiful day.
