A hidden waterfall in a remote village

I just had a trip to discover a beautiful unnamed waterfall in a remote village, Vi R'Ngheo. Vi R'Heo is a small village of the Xo Dang ethnic minority, in Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province. It is located about 42km from the center of Mang Den town, and is located in the middle of a valley between the surrounding mountains and forests. The road to get there was very difficult, so it was still an unspoiled village.

With an adventurous and exploratory personality, I was taken there by a local friend for a tour. And he also led me to a waterfall deep in the forest next to the village. To get there we had to walk for more than 30 minutes through the fields and deep into the forest along a stream. Because it is a remote village, everything here is still very wild. Nature, trees and water here have not been destroyed by humans. People here have a very high sense of living with the surrounding nature. They don't litter the environment, they don't bring trees home from the forest except to plant them, and they don't use electricity to fish. Therefore, nature here still has a very pure beauty.

Crossing the rice fields, we had to follow a stream to reach the waterfall. The stream ran through the forest so sometimes we had difficulty continuing our journey. But trekking in such beautiful nature made me feel very excited. The water here is so clear and clean, I can see the bottom of the stream.

After more than 30 minutes of walking through the fields and forests, we finally reached the waterfall. From the point of view of the local people Xo Dang in Vi R'Ngheo village, water is a very precious asset and gift from mother nature. Therefore, they have a very high sense of protecting water sources, especially the water streams upstream. I felt so grateful to have been led to such a beautiful place. I hope you enjoyed it too, thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I kind of guessed that. I have an experience visiting similar place in my region. The route is so tough I can't imagine there going for a second time.
That sure will be part of your great memories.

This mini waterfall should be given a name because it has a beauty and clear water. Gosh! I love this kind of village that has a good resource of water and there are places to offer to the tourist. I wonder when the waterfall is still unnamed. As always, you have such a good quality photos.

It's just a small village and the local didn't give it a name yet. But they preserve it very well. For them, the water is a valuable and important thing.

It should be better if allowed to bath there. But I guess the water don't look hygienic.. Still, the falls is pretty 😊..

People are allowed to bath at the stream but not the waterfall. The local have a good awareness of protect the water there. That's a really interesting thing I found about that village @jane1289
