Having a memorable overnight camping trip in Ngoc Le mountain

Hi Hivers in Pinmapple community, I just had a memorable overnight camping trip in Ngoc Le mountain, then I would like to share it with you today. Today I decide to make my post a little bit different, I will tell about the camping trip by the photos which are arranged in chronological order.

Let me tell you about the location where we camped. It is a spot nearby a stream deep in the forest of Ngoc Le mountain, Kon Ray district, Kon Tum province.

To get there first we drove motorbikes from Mang Den town to Kon Tu Rang rice terraced field which is at the bottom of Ngoc Le mountain. Then we left our motorbikes over there and trekked into the forest and up to the mountain. It took us about 30 minutes driving motorbikes and one hour trekking to the campsite. Actually first, we planned to camp at a location deeper in the forest, but because we we didn't have enough time and while we were trekking in the forest, it rained and the path was so slippery, so everyone in my team decided to camp at that spot.

And you know what, right after we arrived at the campsite, the first thing did was take it off our clothes, shoes and hats to take leeches off our bodies. In tropical forest, leeches popular in rainy season.

One guy in my team kept bleeding after getting bitten from leeches, we used bandages to stop bleeding.

After that we quickly set up the tents and made fire to warm up and cook before dark. All of us were soaking wet and it was so cold in the forest. We hung up our clothes, backpacks, shoes nearby the fire to make them dry. Some of us smoked cigarettes to warm up.

The night fell down so quickly in the forest. It was just 5 PM, but it was so dark. But it was OK, we made it to make a fire before that. Talking about dinner's menu, we had grilled pork, chicken and sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes. We helped each other to prepare the food.

After that we gathered around the fire to wait for the food cooked. By cooking food in this method, it took about 2 hours to cook. But it was okay, during that time, we were able to enjoy the warmth of the fire and talk to each other.

These girls helped each other comb their hair while waiting for the food to cook.

Finally we could enjoy our hot and delicious dinner. Add to a tiring trekking and a long waiting, everyone was so hungry and enjoyed the food so much. We also had some local special wine with the meal.

After having a good dinner, we went to bed quite late at night because the conversation kept going on. Even though it was rain all night, all of us slept very well thanks to warm blankets and waterproof tents. I thought I was the first person who woke up, but no, someone woke up before me to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature in early morning in the forest. It was cold in early morning there so we also had to make a fire. I preferred to go around and take photos, while someone sat around the fire and read books.

And when everyone in my team woke up, we started to make breakfast. There were three options for us to 24 hour breakfast. The first one was instant noodle. This option is the most convenient and chosen among members of my team.

Someone was taking advantage of the fire to make her a T-shirt dry.

And the second option was sweet potato. We just buried sweet potato in ashes under hot charcoal. And after about 15 minutes, we had so good sweet potatoes.

For me I like the third option, which is hamburger, the most. More precisely, that is Vietnam hamburger which is the most popular option for breakfast in our country. You can easily find it everywhere in Vietnam.

After a good breakfast, we had some hot coffee and some conversations. And then we cleaned up everything and packed our backpacks and went home. Despite of unfavorable weather condition, we had a great and memorable overnight camping trip. That was a wonderful camp site. I highly recommend this place for those who love camping, nature and trekking. From the test I went through, I tried to make a pin on pineapple. But in my opinion, you should go with the local person to get to this place. Or I am more than happy to become your guide if you have a chance to travel to this area. Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. Wish you a nice day.

It's been a great journey, leeches, yes I've been plastered by him a few times, tropical forests do still have the animal, but with the beauty that exists even leeches are not an obstacle to beautiful moments as you feel

Thank you for sharing with us🙏
