Help the volunteer program of medical examination and treatment for ethnic minorities in Dak Tang

Hello Hivers in the Abundance Tribe community, today I would like to share pictures of a charity trip that me and my friends just did. It is a charity program of medical examination and treatment for ethnic minorities in Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district. Many of us lead a full life, but there are still lives out there that are extremely difficult and needy. That is why we should help them because we are all brothers living on this earth.

Let me tell you more about this charity trip. This charity trip took place within two days in the center of Dak Tang commune. In fact, there are 6 villages of the Xo Dang ethnic minority scattered across the territory of Dak Tang commune. But due to difficult traffic conditions, we were not able to go to each village to examine and treat the villagers, we were only able to organize at the commune center, and then the villagers went there to be examined and treated.

We are people from many different countries. I'm a local, I understand the people and the terrain, so I've been the one to connect and lead the way. Meanwhile, the doctors and other volunteers come from many different countries including the US, Korea and Vietnam. We were connected through Mr. Quang, a pastor working in the US and Korea. Even though we come from different countries and only worked together for two days, and because of the supportive and constructive spirit, everything went smoothly.

About the place that we have chosen to carry out the charity program, it is Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district. It consists of 6 villages of ethnic minorities Xo Dang. These villages are located far from the commune center and in the high mountains. They have a difficult and needy life. They live mainly on farming and going to the forest. The health center and school are both located in the commune center. According to local people, they often cure diseases by traditional methods with forest trees. In some villages, they also treat diseases based on spirituality and thanks to the village shaman. That's why when they heard about this charity program, a lot of villagers came to get medical examination and treatment.

Doctors have provided some popular on-site medical examination and treatment services for villagers including: general, otolaryngology, bone and joint, eye, and special focus on the elderly and children. In addition, we also gave the villagers small gifts before they left. Although a large number of villagers attended and we were very tired, we were all very happy that we helped in some way in improving the health of the villagers. The smiles and joy of the villagers have been our great happiness. Indeed, participating in programs like this helps me better understand the people and life of this land. I felt so lucky to have had a better life than them and I think we should do more shows like this in the future. Let's join hands to make the earth a better place to live.
