Hi Hivers, how are you all? I'm sure we're all fine. My name is @donirosayandi, I'm a guitarist. On this occasion I will sing for the 144th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Melodic Dose." This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @lyon-89.

He is a singer, and a lover of all things music, he is a BEAT maker and songwriter, besides that he is also a lover of art in its many expressions.

For this week's theme I have prepared a good song, a song related to the theme, namely the song called "11 Januari". This song is a song from my country, Indonesia, which was popularized by the well-known band "GIGI".

Talking about this week's theme, Melody dose, I immediately thought of Gigi's song. This band is a senior band in Indonesia. GIGI fronted by Armand Maulana, Dewa Budjana, Thomas Ramdhan, and Gusti Hendy.
It's great that this song has a melody that is very familiar at first, easy to play, and very beautiful, I often sing this song on many occasions because the melody is beautiful and phenomenal, the title of this song is January 11, it has a melody at the beginning and at the end of the song, unique once, i love this song.
This January 11 song from the legendary Indonesian band is indeed an old song that is loved by many people, especially those who feel related to the song. And this song became so iconic with January, much like when people sang Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" when September hit.

This January 11 is inspired by the love story of vocalist Armand Maulana and his wife Dewi Gita. This song also has its own meaning for Dewi Gita as the figure of Armand Maulana's wife
The wife also explained that :
"11 is the same high, low, and the same number.
11 like the shadows of two human beings side by side
11 if you add 1+1 = 2
11 hopefully meaningful to everything.

Not only Dewi, Armand also said 'happy anniversary' to the woman he loved so much.

This song really tells about the journey of the true love story of two great musician couples from Indonesia, this year they have been married for 29 years, and almost very little has been hit by skewed gossip about their marriage, really a very good role model, for me and other musicians.
