Playing with Patterns for my next NFT

I love making patterns and repeats

And as my current #nft series for #nftshowroom is "The pattern of life" of course I'm able to make and use it in this series.

This pattern here was one I was designing early Summer inspired by my garden and my pet quail. I love the honeysuckle that vines all about our house and garden so the two seemed a good marriage.

I started to add more blue to the white areas I had begun laying out. I use corel painter pattern capture in able to create a 'square' design that I KNOW will create a seamless repeat.

Then playing in photoshop with colours, adding some green

Then I tile it a few times (12 times to be exact) and crop it and play with colours trying pink/aubergene tones

Which I have to say I rather like this colour way for actual wallpaper in say a powder room or a very girly boudoir, but I think with the figure for my next NFT I might use the tones in the ladies dress so blend. I really like the idea of the women being part of the decorative aspect.

Of course this is just the study for the #NFT as it will be animated and I'll paint out the characters differently.

Overall I'm loving playing with patterns and excited to get to the final stage of this #nft.
