Finding the Joy in a Quiet Life : Foggy seaside Day of drawing

During October I attempted inktober and was doing rather well, until we got hit by a nor'easter (not uncommon here in coastal New England) and thus were without power and internet for about a week. Luckily we have a generator, so we did have some comfort, but it did not give us internet and I simply let the quiet and very 19th century moment wash over me. So, I didn't finish inktober, but I still had fun doing a good amount of inks of seaside teaparties.

I'm happy to be back on 3speak as I've also happily come back to Hive. My journey back to Hive happened mid Summer as I knew, with the rumblings of the world, that come Winter, I'd want that comfort of online community all the more. And as the golden and red leaves of Autumn fall and crumble underfoot as my breath appears smoky in my morning walks, I know Winter is coming, in more ways than one.

It then dawned on me that I want to start getting my videos onto 3speak and I love having them a part of Hive in general. I still , in my heart, consider this place like the mid 2000's blogosphere that I once loved. Before Facebook and the popularity of youtube, blogs were a thing I did and also greatly enjoyed. Not that they do not still exist, but it is a different world.

Well, I hope you enjoy this video as we escape to the quiet fogbound shore of my home here stuck out in the Atlantic on Cape Cod. I know I may have shared this embedded in a post before, but it was still on youtube. I really want to make it a priority to move my videos here and to be more apart of #3speak and #hive

I hope you enjoy and remember, stay creative!
