Celebrating the 15 years of my beautiful goddaughter (Eng/Esp)

Last weekend I escaped to the countryside to celebrate my dear goddaughter's 15th birthday. It seems unbelievable that so much time has passed! Time flies and sometimes we don't realize how quickly things happen. That is why it is so important to take advantage of every second and fully enjoy the moments we share with our loved ones, especially with family.

El fin de semana pasado me escapé al campo para celebrar los 15 años de mi querida ahijada. ¡Parece mentira que ya haya pasado tanto tiempo! El tiempo vuela y, a veces, no nos damos cuenta de lo rápido que pasan las cosas. Por eso es tan importante aprovechar cada segundo y disfrutar al máximo de los momentos que compartimos con nuestros seres queridos, especialmente con la familia.

I still clearly remember that beautiful girl who, with her eyes full of curiosity and a smile that illuminated any space, came to my house. Her mother, for work reasons, had to be away frequently, and I had the joy of being the one who took care of her and filled her days with games, songs and hugs. In my arms, she became a little explorer who conquered every corner of my home, filling it with laughter and pranks.

Aún recuerdo con nitidez a esa hermosa niña que, con sus ojitos llenos de curiosidad y una sonrisa que iluminaba cualquier espacio, llegaba a mi casa. Su mamá, por motivos de trabajo, debía ausentarse con frecuencia, y yo tenía la dicha de ser quien la cuidaba y llenaba sus días de juegos, canciones y abrazos. En mis brazos, se convertía en una pequeña exploradora que conquistaba cada rincón de mi hogar, llenándolo de risas y travesuras.

Today, as I look at the photographs that capture her transformation into a beautiful young lady, I can't help but feel a deep emotion. Time has flown by, but the memories of those shared days remain intact in my heart. In each image, I see reflected the kindness, intelligence and sweetness that have always characterized her.

Hoy, al observar las fotografías que capturan su transformación en una hermosa señorita, no puedo evitar sentir una profunda emoción. El tiempo ha pasado volando, pero los recuerdos de esos días compartidos permanecen intactos en mi corazón. En cada imagen, veo reflejada la bondad, la inteligencia y la dulzura que siempre la han caracterizado.

It fills me with pride to see her become this young woman full of dreams and aspirations. I only ask God to continue guiding her on her path, to grant her the wisdom to make the best decisions and to never lose that light that shines so brightly within her. May life present you with opportunities to grow, learn and achieve each of your desires.

Me llena de orgullo verla convertida en esta jovencita llena de sueños y aspiraciones. Solo le pido a Dios que la siga guiando en su camino, que le otorgue la sabiduría para tomar las mejores decisiones y que nunca pierda esa luz que brilla con tanta intensidad en su interior. Que la vida le presente oportunidades para crecer, aprender y alcanzar cada uno de sus anhelos.

I know you have the strength and determination to conquer the world. My sincere wish is that she always retains the goodness that defines her and that the nobility of her heart drives her to leave a positive mark on this world. I will be here, always attentive to your steps, giving you my unconditional support and celebrating each of your triumphs.
