Greetings dear friends of sewing, knitting and other arts and crafts, wishing you had a great weekend and wishing you have a very good week, here I am again to share with you a beautiful sewing project, and it is a nice boxer for girls.

The truth is that at this moment I have dedicated myself to take advantage of the scraps that I have left from other projects, and as this piece does not require a lot of fabric, it was excellent for its realization.

Once I had the patterns made I looked for my scraps of lycra cotton and proceeded to cut according to the patterns, which is a piece for the back, one for the front, an outer crotch piece of the same lycra cotton fabric and an inner crotch piece of white cotton.

Saludos estimados amigos de la costura, el tejido y de otras artes de las manualidades, deseándoles hayan tenido un excelente fin de semana y la vez desearles que tengan una muy buena semana, por aquí estoy nuevamente para compartirles un hermoso proyecto de costura, y es un lindo bóxer para niñas.

La verdad en este momento me he dedicado a sacarle provecho a los retazos que me han quedado de otros proyectos, y como para esta pieza no se requiere mucha tela, pues estaba excelente para su realización.

Una vez que tenía los patrones realizados busqué mis retazos de algodón licrado y procedí al corte de acuerdo a los patrones, que es una pieza para la parte trasera, una para la parte delantera, una pieza de entrepierna externa de la misma tela de algodón licrado y una pieza de entrepierna interna de algodón blanco.

The first thing I did was to align the centers of the back boxer piece with the outer and inner crotch with pins, then I did it on both sides of the center with pins, taking into account that they are curved pieces easy to fall apart.

This way you can see the pieces joined, internally and externally. As you can see, the internal piece, white cotton, is smaller than the external one so that this part is not thick and bothersome when making the hem.
De esta forma se ven las piezas unidas, interna y externamente. Como se observa la pieza interna, algodón blanco, es más pequeña que la externa para que esa parte no quede gruesa y moleste al realizar el ruedo.

After sewing one of the sides, I started to place the elastic in such a way that the selvedges coincide, with a medium zigzag. In such a way that the wrong sides match, if the elastic has a wrong side, otherwise just take into account the wrong side of the fabric and without stretching the elastic.
Después de coser uno de los costados, empecé a colocar el elástico de tal forma que coincidieran los orillos, con un zigzag mediano. De tal forma que coincidan los revés, si es que el elástico tiene revés, de lo contrario solo tener en cuenta el revés de la tela y sin estirar el elástico.

To make the hem, first I mark with pins where I am going to sew the seam because this is done with a zigzag, and this way I don't have to make an additional zigzag to the hem of the hem.
Para realizar el ruedo primeramente marco con alfileres por donde voy a realizar la costura porque esta se realiza con un zigzag, y así no hay que realizarles un zigzag adicional a los bajos del ruedo.
