Second attempt at the Djinn Apprentice share your battle challenge, Used with a dragon summoner to get more units for the battle as there was a bit of mana to use.

Cost per level (used prices at time of writing)

Seems to cost at least 0.1 per copy, which is quite ok for its rarity and quite easy to get higher level since the price is not that high.

Level 4 is required to that damage buff which is quite nice to have as extra damage is always nice to have since it increase the chance to take out a target, level 6 is required to get the deathblow ability which can be useful if there is only 1 target left alive in the opponent's team since you will do 2x damage to it.

the gold foil starts at level 2 and cost about 2x plus a bit but the level 4 version cost a lot more than the regular foil making it not as worth to get just for that 10% gold foil bonus.

The removal of armor with the rulesets does make certain teams harder to do as low hp units are at a greater risk of being taken out since no armor is stopping those attacks, the amount of mana is decent allowing for some high cost cards to be used but the amount of elements are limited

Reach, Double StrikeCarnage Titan with reach it can attack from the second position and with double strike it will hit for quite a bit of damage and since there is no armor the damage will hit the hp directly
Sneak,Double StrikeDhampir Infiltrator with sneak it can still attack and it has double strike as well and with no armor it will hit hp
Magic damage, Blast, ScattershotChaos Dragon with blast and that nice 3 points of magic damage its blast will greatly affect the battle since it has scattershot if luck is good multiple units will be hit from its attacks

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

They ran a life team with quite a few range units which is great for me since my summoner reduces the range damage by 1 and they do have some magic damage units as well which damage gets reduced by my main tank void which is great.

Their main tank need to recharge does reduce their damage output, which does not help them since there is no armor.

The round ends with 2 units on the opponent's team being killed while only my main tank being damage but not losing too much.

Last Round

The reduction in damage from the opponent's team makes them unable to take out my main tank and due to the blast and multiple double strike their team was quickly destroyed resulting in my victory without losing any units from my team

Strategy Talk

The strategy was revolves around having double strike and blast damages, since there is no armor the damage values were given straight to the HP plus high base hp did help since that allowed units to stay alive the speed differences play a part as well since my units did get to attack first.

Djinn Apprentice is a vanilla magic damage unit and getting it to level 4 is a great if you wish to get a decent 3 damage unit and its price is quite low for a rare card, a normal foil is enough since the 10% buff is not really worth 4x price tag.
