I don't understand people who think they are better than others. - Weekend Engagement 114

Prefiero sufrir una injusticia a causarla, porque si la causo me transformaré en una persona injusta

Sócrates

I had more than a month without appearing here, I missed sitting a few hours in front of the computer to read a few of the incredible stories that I can find in Hive, because when I entered I came across the weekend challenge, this time the 114 that brought incredible topics, and certainly one of them fit precisely with something that happened to me this week, so I take the opportunity to tell you a little.

I have always thought that we all have the same value, that people are not valued by the amount of money they have in their pockets, how they dress or the area in which they live, the value of people goes beyond that, so "I do not understand people who think they are more than others", in the years I have lived, I have never had bonanza, I have gone through ups and downs like everyone, but I have always been a humble person, I help who I can, I do not discriminate and I am always the same person in the place where I stand.

But unfortunately it has touched me to observe people who think they are more than others, simply because they had or have the joy of having a little more than others, a few days ago I had to live something similar, this uncomfortable act to my father and me, to the point of getting out of trouble in a local paints for vehicles. We were making some purchases to paint my new car, and while we were ordering the things we needed, an elderly man arrived, who worked for these people cleaning outside the store, asking the owner if he could please advance his payment because he had no food at home, but the owner did not let him finish talking when he yelled at him that the payday was Saturday.

The gentleman insisted that please he did not want to come home with nothing, and the guy continued with his rudeness, and yelled at him in front of everyone present, until the moment came where this despot man told us buyers not to be scared, to which I responded I am not scared, you be scared, and my father, on the other hand, began to argue with the owner, After a discussion in which my old man told him to leave so that they could settle outside as equals, the owner's wife came out to defend him, my father, who was about to pay to see that the merchandise had been delivered to us, when he paid he said to the owner "the way you treat him I will treat you" and threw the money on the floor, waiting for him to leave, which he did not do.

We waited outside and the man came out, dad, took some dollars out of his pocket and gave it to him, telling this elderly man not to let him humiliate himself, that we all have red blood and as Ricardo Arjona says, we all shit the same shit, we should not treat people only by appearance, you should never judge a book by its cover, and the most important thing is to remind ourselves that in front of a scale we all weigh the same.

Los Tejos

Without further ado I say goodbye friends, until next time.

we should not treat people only by appearance,

I agree, but sad to say there are still people who look at one's appearance.
