Valioso tiempo | Valuable time (ESP/ENG)
Pasamos nuestra vida, gastando nuestro tiempo por unos cuantos centavos, con los cuales supuestamente tendremos una mejor calidad de vida, esta mentira con la que crecemos y nos formamos pronto será descubierta con el pasar de los años, cuando el gris tiñe nuestro cabello, las metas por tener un trabajo bueno que nos genere suficientes ingresos para gastarlos en cosas que no siempre son necesarias, es como imposible de conseguir, cuando llegamos a una edad avanzada entonces solemos descubrir que todo este tiempo lo desperdiciamos en vano, gastamos nuestra salud a cambio de dinero, para darnos cuenta de que no tenemos el suficiente para costearnos un poquito de salud en el caso de mi país, sin una póliza, ni garantías de un buen sistema de salud, esta es la gran realidad en la que vivimos muchos países no tan beneficiados.
We spend our life, spending our time for a few cents, with which supposedly we will have a better quality of life, this lie with which we grow and form us will soon be discovered with the passing of the years, when the grey dyes our hair, the goals to have a good job that generates enough income to spend on things that are not always necessary, When we reach an advanced age then we usually discover that all this time is wasted in vain, we spend our health in exchange for money, only to realise that we do not have enough to afford a little health care in the case of my country, without a policy or guarantees of a good health system, this is the great reality in which we live in many countries that do not benefit so much.
Hasta hace un mes mi familia contrajo el virus COVID-19 en casa, por una irresponsabilidad de nuestra parte al asistir en una reunión familiar donde supuestamente todos estábamos vacunados y sanos, que alejados de la realidad estábamos, el primero en caer en batalla fui yo, al día siguiente mi princesa de 1 año y 8 meses, y luego de unos días mi esposa, ciertamente somos fuertes y sanos y el virus solamente nos golpeó, pero sin mayor daño, una noche de fiebre, un par de días con malestar y lo molesto de esto fue la perdida del sentido del gusto y olfato.
Until a month ago my family contracted the COVID-19 virus at home, due to our irresponsibility in attending a family gathering where supposedly we were all vaccinated and healthy, how far from reality we were, the first to fall in battle was me, the next day my princess of 1 year and 8 months, and after a few days my wife, certainly we are strong and healthy and the virus only hit us, but without major damage, a night of fever, a couple of days with malaise and the annoying thing about this was the loss of sense of taste and smell.
Por suerte mi madre siempre decía, el que guarda hoy, tiene mañana, por eso de todo este tiempo de todas las horas que invierto trabajando que pueden llegar a ser hasta 18 horas al día de ser necesario, por eso siempre hago un presupuesto con prioridades y adicional tengo una cuenta para guardar mis ahorros en caso de una emergencia, eventualidad y también para ver crecer mis finanzas, porque como dicen es de bien nacido, ser agradecido y ese desgaste físico, mental y emocional, no se recupera así que en la medida de lo que trabajo también me dedico a disfrutar, no hay nada mejor que vivir viviendo y quizás sea redundar, pero soy de ese tipo de persona que argumenta que puede comprarte lo que desees porque para eso trabajas y lo mereces.
Luckily my mother always said, he who saves today, has tomorrow, that's why of all this time of all the hours I invest working that can be up to 18 hours a day if necessary, so I always make a budget with priorities and additionally I have an account to keep my savings in case of an emergency, eventuality and also to see my finances grow, because as they say, it is good to be grateful and that physical, mental and emotional wear and tear is never recovered, so to the extent that I work I also dedicate myself to enjoy myself, there is nothing better than living while living and perhaps I am redundant, but I am the type of person who argues that you can buy whatever you want because that is what you work for and you deserve it.
No digo que mi cuerpo no se deteriora a diario, entre cansancio y trabajo, pero por lo menos mi estrategia me permite estar un paso adelante porque de la misma forma destino tiempo para mi futuro, por esto cada vez que pienso en lo corta que es nuestra vida, me detengo a pensar que hay que disfrutar plenamente, para obtener recompensas, simplemente tomar todo este tiempo que invertí y ahorrar para vivir en el futuro mis últimos días con paz y tranquilidad, después de todo la vida se hizo para vivirla y disfrutarla intensamente, tener la capacidad de comprender que no todo es trabajo.
I am not saying that my body does not deteriorate daily, between tiredness and work, but at least my strategy allows me to be one step ahead because in the same way I allocate time for my future, this is why every time I think about how short our life is, I stop to think that you have to enjoy fully to get rewards, just take all this time I invested and save to live in the future my last days with peace and tranquility, after all life was made to live it and enjoy it intensely, have the ability to understand that not everything is work.
