US inflation data

Headline inflation rose higher than expected from 3.1% to 3.2% and core inflation fell more weakly than expected from 3.9% to 3.8%.

Headline inflation takes all goods into account, while core inflation ignores food and energy prices.

Neither is good news.

The first rate cut should occur in June.

Most of the time there was a correction afterwards. Let’s wait and see ☺️
