Shots from My Neighbour's Garden

How close can I get to have clean close up shots of small flowers and small fruits?

Nature is beautiful and is more beautiful even when the seeming regular things we see can be seen inside some more detail.

My neighbour's garden is very much not so much demarcated from my apartment. She used to have trees and flowers but she cut down most of them already because she is getting quite old to tender to these plants adequately. She has just a few plants now.

I was looking to catch shots of a bird with my 100mm lens on my Lumix canera but missed the bird by an inch. It was a close call, so the bird must have been startled and flown away.

I decided to take few shots of a tomato and a shrub flower and see how much detail I could muster with a 42mm lens.

I didn't get too much detail because I wasn't using a macro lens, but I got some good shots.

I love how this tomato looked with the shadow and daylight sun spread all over it.

The very common Talinum plant. We call this leaves of this shrub "Gúre" in my dialect.

Was lucky to get this shot. I didn't there was a fly in my shot until when I was looking through the shots.
