Mountain Blessings: Foggy Mornings, Sweet Lansones Harvest and a Beautiful Flowers

Hello everyone!
For some people, living in the mountains may be difficult because life here is different from life in the city. But for me, living here is a blessing. I get to enjoy fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and the gifts of nature. Sometimes, I just look around and feel thankful for the simple life we have here.

One of the blessings I enjoyed now was harvesting lansones from my father's tree. I was so happy to see my nieces and nephews enjoying and eating the fruits. There were so many lansones that my nieces and nephews were also able to sell some and earn money. We even shared some with our neighbors. It feels good when we have something to share with other people. Because when they have also they gave some harvest to us. We do sharing is caring.

Of course, I also got some lansones for my father. I even tried the viral tip that says eating only seven lansones a day is enough. Hahaha! I don't know if it is true, but I decided to try it with him. At least, he can enjoy eating the fruit while I get to try something viral, too. Hahaha!

Another interesting thing about living here is our weather. The sun usually comes out around 7:00 to 8:30 in the morning. But by 9:00 AM, the fog starts to cover our surroundings. Sometimes, it becomes so dark that it feels like rain is coming, even though it is not yet lunchtime. The fog is so thick that the whole place looks like it is raining. That is how cold it can be here!

Because of our cool weather, vegetables grow well in our place. However, fruit trees do not always bear fruit, so every harvest is something to be thankful for.
Aside from vegetables and fruit trees, I also love the flowers here. My mother and sister have many million flowers, and my favorite color is blue. I love seeing them bloom because they make our surroundings more beautiful. These flowers can also be used to make lovely wedding bouquets. Imagine having fresh flowers from our own garden!

Living in the mountains may not be easy for everyone, but I am happy to enjoy the beauty of nature and spend time with my family. For me, these simple blessings make mountain life special.

Your place looks so foggy that it almost feels like you’re not even in the Philippines!
I remember visiting Balamban, Cebu, which is a mountainous area, with my officemates one December. Even at around 10 a.m., the fog was so thick that visibility was almost zero. You really needed a thick jacket to keep yourself warm in that kind of weather!
Your place is beautiful, and the weather looks lovely, too. You’re also blessed with an abundance of fruits!
What a heartwarming post! Harvesting sweet lansones from your father's tree and sharing them with family and neighbors truly shows the beauty of community and sharing. The foggy mountain mornings and lovely flowers make life there feel like an absolute blessing. Thanks for sharing these wholesome moments!

STOPIt's lanzones season in our place, too. There were lots of lanzones that were selling around the market and everywhere you go in the market that sells fruits even there were sellers that only sells a specific fruit and that was the lanzones. Well, they sell at around 15 - 25 php per kilogram and I think depending on what kind of lanzones, it will also vary because there were lanzones that were sour, sweet, sweety and soury taste.
