Reflecting on Nftees, building a brand - a labour of love and learning.

I want to take you on a little journey through my experiences in the wild world of cryptocurrency and NFTs. A journey 3 years in the making and frankly I still feel like a novice.

It all started a few years back when my partner and I dipped our toes into the crypto. While He dove headfirst into DeFi, scoffing at NFTs, I found myself drawn to the colorful world of NFTs. I mean, my first minted nft was Krypto Kitties, how could I not?!! I was wowed by the vibrant marketplaces of OpenSea and Rarible?

At first, I'll admit, I was totally clueless about the whole process of creating hype around a Genesis piece. I approached it like I would an Etsy shop, minting NFTs left and right, with little strategy in mind. But, live and you learn, right? Sometimes it's two steps forward, and one step back, but that's all part of the chacha.

One of the highlights of my journey was the creation of NFTEES. These NFTs had a unique feature – a lock function tied to real-life items from the shop. It was a fantastic idea, but my lack of know-how quickly became apparent, and the learning curve when faced with ETH gas fees was a nightmare. That's when I made the leap to Solana, there I found a fun community, easy interfaces, and what gas fees!?

While NFTEES took a backseat for a while, I didn't let that stop me. I immersed myself in various Solana projects, wearing different hats along the way – from Lore Master to Artist, and even co-founding a charitable project called Jolly Santa. It was a whirlwind of innovation and collaboration in a rapidly evolving space.

And now, here I am, full circle back to NFTEES. But this time, I'm taking it slow, learning from past experiences, and sharing my vision with the world. It's a journey of growth, discovery, and endless possibilities.
