Staring at the reflections of the clouds on the water, I find myself thinking of a different kind of reflecting.

On the past, on a choice, even on a word.

Recently a friend of mine stated "We're born alone and we die alone".

Now I've heard this turn of phrase many times in my life, but this particular time my brain broke apart the word alone..And what it found was stunning.

Al One...All One.

I've considered the possibility that we are all a part of the source of life, the ultimate creator. That once upon a time we weren't separate at all, but one being. That perhaps eventually we remember who we are- or re-member. We put ourselves back together again.

Right now we are Immortal living spirits having an earthly, or physical, experience. One that requires us to be limited in so many ways. And especially to be a multitude of separate beings.

But when we eventually evolve and ascend, we go back home, where we're never alone, we are simply all one :)
