El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una receta de mi hijo Matthias a la que llamo “huevos estrellados con salchichas”, que no es más que hacer la forma de una estrella sobre el huevo con las salchichas, me pidió que para acompañarla le colocara aguacate porque le gusta mucho y que le hiciera rosquillas (así le llama a las arepas fritas con un hueco en el centro).

Today I want to share with you a recipe from my son Matthias which I call "starry eggs with sausages", which is nothing more than making the shape of a star on the egg with sausages, he asked me to accompany it with avocado because he likes it very much and to make donuts (that's how he calls the fried arepas with a hole in the center).

Esto motivado a la fiebre que Hive ha causado en mi hijo mayor Matthias Andrés, quien ha compartido conmigo cada uno de los momentos y ha disfrutado cada una de mis alegrías con esta plataforma; como les he contado en anteriores oportunidades él siempre está al pendiente de cada una de mis publicaciones y quiere salir en todas.

This was motivated by the fever that Hive has caused in my eldest son Matthias Andrés, who has shared with me every single moment and has enjoyed each of my joys with this platform; as I have told you in previous opportunities he is always aware of each of my publications and wants to be in all of them.

Hace días atrás él me dijo que quería preparar una receta para compartirla en Hive y para no quitarle la ilusión decidí ayudarlo a realizarla; les cuento que Matthias es un niño muy activo, curioso y colaborador, el cual ha mostrado mucho interés por la cocina pero por miedo a que se lastime poco lo dejamos participar, solo le permitimos hacer cosas acorde a su edad.

A few days ago he told me that he wanted to prepare a recipe to share on Hive and so as not to take away his illusion I decided to help him make it; I tell you that Matthias is a very active, curious and collaborative child, who has shown great interest in the kitchen but for fear of getting hurt we let him participate, we only allow him to do things according to his age.

Para esta receta Matthias pico las salchichas y me pidió freírlas, y que luego le hiciera un huevo entero, me hizo hincapié que fuera con la amarilla aguada para que fuera más rico jajaja; ya con esto listo, mi hijo se encargó de la decoración del plato y me pidió que le sacara fotos para subirlas a hive y votaran por nosotros. Es increíble ver como mi hijo está al pendiente de las cosas que hacemos en casa y va copiando todo, se siente bien ser un ejemplo para mis pequeños.

For this recipe Matthias picked the sausages and asked me to fry them, and then I made him a whole egg, he emphasized me to go with the watery yellow so it would be richer hahaha; with this ready, my son was in charge of decorating the dish and asked me to take pictures to upload them to hive and vote for us. It is amazing to see how my son is aware of the things we do at home and copying everything, it feels good to be an example for my little ones.

Así mismo pienso que es importante incentivarlos a seguir sus sueños y ayudarlos en lo que les gusta; me considero un padre consentidor en este aspecto porque siempre trato de estar al pendiente de mis pequeños, pero cuando tengo que corregirlos también lo hago; esa es la esencia de ser papá.

I also think it is important to encourage them to follow their dreams and help them in what they like; I consider myself a spoiled father in this aspect because I always try to be attentive to my little ones, but when I have to correct them I also do it; that is the essence of being a dad.
