Is Magic: The Gathering - Arena Better Than Hearthstone?

I recently started playing some hearthstone again after taking a break, and I quickly realized that there's an infinite card glitch in the Wild deck system which is impossible to win against. This means that unless you are playing this only one deck with the right set of cards, you don't stand a chance. This was very disappointing to me and made me quit days after I started. I also do not want to play standard as I will have to keep purchasing booster packs to keep up with everyone else.

Then I remembered MTG: Arena which is an awesome online version of the real card game. I used to have a blast with this game last year. So I will be playing this one instead of Hearthstone for the time being. The glitch in Hearthstone has been around for months without a fix so I'll just be playing MTG for the foreseeable future. There are some minor differences in gameplay but overall both games are very similar.

Let me know if you've played either and which one is your favorite. Of course I love Steem Monsters as well but it's nice to play something else once in a while, something with a bit more strategy involved.
