Empathy, Points of View and Truth + Daily Runes

A System so free that we get to imprison ourselves

Just a moment ago, my sisters were talking about the thugs from other nations who have profited from the collapse of our country, unscrupulous individuals whose addresses and activities are well known to authorities worldwide but who have been untouchable for years, because they've lined the right pockets and made a billions go from hand to hand. The subject of the law arose and one of my sisters is of the opinion that the law is useless or actively detrimental for society, which I had to respond. I briefly replied that in the majority of cases, the problem doesn't lie with the law, but with the people who wield it. She wasn't convinced, but it wasn't my intention to persuade her, I was simply offering a different point of view.

Laws, regulations, objects, constructs, ideas... all of these are just tools that we can grasp and use in many ways, or not use at all. Criminals abuse them, bend them to what they think are their best interest, in detriment of everyone else, but that doesn't mean the tools are flawed (although some of them certainly are), it means that the people that should enforce rules allow these abuses and actively encourage them. This happens because damaged individuals see the world as damaged, but their reaction isn't to repair it but to drain as much as they can because they don't expect to live long and don't have any hope or concept of true progress. Most important, since they see the world through the vision of Fear, they can't possibly understand the points of view around them, so they're clueless about the harm they do with their actions. They're completely overtaken by their prejudices and opinions.

Bars can be beautiful, but they're made to restrict and limit regardless

If you ask anyone about these conducts, they'd be highly critical of them and assume that these people are working solely on their self-interest. In fact it's probably what you think too. But that's an appearance, the truth is that causing harm to others is causing harm to ourselves, so these people aren't actually profiting from this, they're ravaging themselves. It's not smart to destroy nations or cause suffering to others. On the other hand, is criticism and anger enough to separate us from the abusers? Have you ever wondered what you'd do in their position? How you'd act if you were given any kind of influence or authority over others? You might say "I'd never engage in corruption" or "I'd never strip people of their constitutional guaranties." But what have you done with the authority you do possess? Over your family, your household, your job, your friendships? Have you forbidden others things that you enjoy yourself? Or prevented them from acting a certain way just because it bothered you personally? Have you ever imposed your opinions on others for your own sake?

Isn't a bracelet just an ornamental shackle that you can take off at will? Such is opinion

I know I have, and I've paid the price for it, which is why I've stopped judging everybody and criminals in particular, because I understand the levels of indecency and oppression that we regularly exercise with one another without realizing it, how far they can go into the psyche and what they can do to our emotions and thoughts. For that, I've had to train empathy to considerable degrees, an excruciating task with an extremely high reward: Peace. This Universe doesn't hate us, the System isn't designed to make us squirm in our flesh-and-mind-prisons wondering when the torment will stop. If there are tyrants among us, it's because we need to learn something from them that we haven't learned yet, and because they also have to learn things by grossly trespassing boundaries and then paying the inevitable price. That's how I managed to spiritually embrace the thugs that ruined my country as brothers again, and no longer care for their actions or ambitions.

The only true Law in this existence is Love, it's the thread the encompasses the apparent reality that surrounds us, connecting us with the total whole of Creation. This Love allows us to materialize whatever we choose, our every desire expressed around us to the detail whether we're aware of what we're desiring or not. By changing perspectives we get a larger picture of the Tapestry and therefore gain a better understanding of the happenings of our world, in the knowledge that all of them are fueled and based on that Supreme Love and thus, all is perfect regardless of what we think about it.

Night Rune: Gebo

I see the world in layers. I behold the appearance and also the Truth underneath.

Daylight message: Gebo

You have the gift of perspective, you may talk or be silent, observe one side or the other. You may also unify the visions to obtain a single consistent image, but the only way is to connect the dots, understand that all is indivisible unity. Adopt the point of view of others and you shall see why they do what they do. Defeat your fear, slip past your pride, cross the frontier and access knowledge. Your opinion about what surrounds you clouds your senses, how can you be present if you always tell yourself stories? Mistakes always cause noise, thus can they be identified; correct your angle and posture, transmute the noise into song. Concentrate on the coherences and intersections and the apparent dilemmas shall vanish. If you need to believe in something, believe in Infinity, ideas and images limit you. A grain of salt is all the salt in the world.

We always fall into this error, judging earthly laws because they are simply not enforced in the place where we are. In this case in Venezuela. It is normal to think that way, I had that same mistaken vision in some moments of my life. But then I learned that it is not the laws that are wrong, it is the execution of these laws and those who control them do with them what they are forbidden to do, not to comply with them.

the truth is that causing harm to others is causing harm to ourselves

As it is, I learned this long ago, and as long as we are taking care of our own heart and soul, we must learn not to harm others. Just as when you are in this process of personal growth in any aspect of your life, it is necessary to share the lessons we learn along the way. It is up to the other person to accept it or not. Each one chooses how to build himself, each one chooses how to destroy himself.

For that, I've had to train empathy to considerable degrees, an excruciating task with an extremely high reward: Peace

To a lesser or greater degree, I have had to learn a lot from these things. Especially when you are surrounded by people who need to learn a little more about love and respect. For my part, I stopped judging, thank heavens I have taken many things as jokes or comedy, I like to laugh at the absurd and what can ''hurt'' me emotionally. Insults no longer have any effect on me, neither does yelling. Because I moved away from this kind of problems or arguments, because the priority I have is the peace I always desire. I cannot fight against something much bigger than me, therefore, I must be wiser when reacting to any of these problems. And it is very tiring to follow a constant fight within what the politicians have built in this country.
