Music Friday: Dancing Bee - Week 2

Hello, friends, it's Friday again, which means it's time for a new playlist from the Dancing Bee series. As before - a little bit new, a little bit old, but all only the best :)

Dutch recording artist and songwriter NATHASSIA, also known as Goddess Is A DJ often works with different artists and last week she mentioned a great single recorded with the most popular Indian-British producer GAR. I don't know about you, but it reminds me of the early hits of my beloved Kylie Mnogue.

Another hot new release. Dutch-Moroccan DJ, producer R3HAB expands his horizons and this spring presented on Liquid State label a new track "Stars Alig" recorded with the mega-popular Chinese pop star Jolin Tsai, whose resume includes 13 studio albums, 19 years of professional musical career and tens of millions of sold albums.

It's getting warmer by the day. Spring is picking up and almost every morning this week I started with John Newman and his "Love Me Again." Probably one of my favorite songs, the drive is top notch!

German musician, producer Phil from Havêa, member of the project Les Loups and Majestic Casual label is well versed in lo-fi house and his groove is simply impossible to resist. Very soulful, but at the same time fantastically energetic.

Belgian DJ Maxi Meraki knows how to mix bright tech house with funk, exotic percussion or disco and his new single plunges into the atmosphere of hot tropics from the first seconds.

The fashion for classic acid house sound is rapidly gaining momentum and the label Bunkaball records, perfectly fit into this trend with the new release, recorded by Italian magicians Alfrenk and ProOne79. Buzzing synths, whipping beat - just what you need for a kick-ass house party.

I love the guys from the German techno orchestra MEUTE and the way they perform club hits on live instruments - just awesome. My dream is to go to their concert, and hopefully with the coronavirus retreat I will be able to.

I'm always searching for new interesting music, but sometimes I slow down on classics and one of the main tracks of this week definitely became the iconic "Show Me Love" by Robin S, the number of remixes to which exceeds all imaginable limits.

Neon retro is love, I never have less than 50 songs on my 80's pop style playlists, and I can play things like "21614" from Rob & Chris on repeat at least a dozen times. Very motivating stuff.

There's a great holiday coming up - Cosmonautics Day and I can't help but include in this release one of the tracks by true space romantics Moskva-Kassiopeya. 100% retro-futurism.
