For most of my adult life, I feel like I have kept an optimistic outlook, looking for the best in everyone that I meet. Prayer, faith, family, and friends nourish that positive attitude. I have always been so thankful for all I have. I have been fortunate enough to have soul lighters in my life, keeping the path lit, so I don't lose my way.
An age-old computer science phrase of garbage in, garbage out, (GIGO) comes to mind. It was a caution to users against trusting computer output that you got from unreliable input or source. Much like what I allowed my children to read online or see on television - before they were able to make those judgment calls themselves.
Serenity and peace reign in this place deep within, I take delight in the fact that it makes me feel beautiful inside.
Like a sailor in the deep seas of thoughts, you bring me knowledge to the shores of my mind. Have I told you how your words are full of depth, longing, and truth, giving meaning to my thoughts?

I really do, still. I used to do it when I was a teenager in a notebook, but now I use scraps of paper or an envelope because the words come at the most random times. Then, of course, they never come when I want them.

Hey, Beautiful! No, I wish they were! I love gooseberries. :) I believe these are called Carolina Laurel Cherries. They aren't in my yard but in an adjacent field. But, I am pretty sure that is what they are called. If you find out any different, let me know. :)

That is great I feel the same way about lots of things, I mean it just makes more sense right? if you keep an optimistic outlook, being happy brings more positive energy into your life than being negative. Positive thinking always gives the opportunity to explore what you can achieve in near, a deep look and overview of our life help to realise how manage our daily life. The most important think is that which one gives you priority and evaluation with your emotion. Emotions can be turned into nostalgia but its a part of our life. I think you have good and wonderful day at the next.
Emotions can sometimes cloud judgement, not allowing you to see some of the most important things. I like to think that I can separate them, but, I know sometimes the nostalgia wins!

I feel that I look at life as a realistic optimist. I try to see the bright side, but I have thrown my rose colored glasses away. I dont like to be pessimistic but life has a way of leaving some of us jaded.
Perfection is not all its cracked up to be, but I am glad I got humble down pat.

It still feels odd to see the changes in technology, right before my very eyes - and in an everyday manner. From none to catching the world on fire with it. I never thought phones would be part of my wardrobe.

Progress isn't always progress, in a personal sense. Have kids gained anything by being so tech savvy and letting social media and technology run their life? I think in some ways, they have been cheated of the small things in life. Of course, that is only my opinion. :)

I am thankful more than ever these days
I wasn't ungrateful before, but I have a tendency to worry and plan for the worse so I am prepared... so I was always in worry state.
Then I learnt focusing on the things that are good, and being grateful helps to minimize those worry gremlins and sometimes they disappear altogether ;D
