Choose Me! Color or Black and White?

I have always liked black and white because it eliminates the distraction of color. For viewing purposes, the contrast between the black and white is greater and I love the in between tones.

I have always loved color because I have the ability to make it look surreal! When I want to make an impact, I use very saturated colors. My world is full of color, the color of life! Embrace it.

I think that if you do black and white photos, this is a ~~new~~ nice place to show them off, pair it up with the color version and post it so we can all get a good look at your work.

I am always so torn. Should I post it in color or black and white? Many times, I am unsure which works best, or at the very least, want the best impact. If we are not looking for impact in some way, what's the point? Take this seemingly innocent daisy. Color or black and white? Which works?

Then again, sometimes it is more about trying to learn about how it works. How can you tell if a shot will work in black and white? Can they all work or is there a science behind it?

So, this is black and white and it is clear to me that I like the color better, although, to be honest, most of the place pictures put a nice spin on black and white. So, why not this one. Not enough contrast in the sky? These are difficult for me to get the right angle from down on the ground, so clouds were not possible this day.

So, who is brave enough to throw me up an example of one and then another? Send me one in the comment section. Make it bold, be brave! Remember that the photo must behave. Raise your hand if you are game.

Oh, but, who knew

So, I lean down and hit restart

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

Flowers. There must always be flowers to color my world. #alwaysaflower

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
