Colliding Thoughts will Swallow you Whole

Wait no more, the moment has come to reach out to your soul, filling every void with a beauty that's hard to come by. So, come close, open your heart and let me decorate it with petals of beauty.

We tend to want instant gratification in life, but, sometimes things take time. Maybe a little weeding, some pruning, and some tender loving care, allowing for proper growth. Breathe deeply and let that feeling swallow you whole.

I let myself be carried away
On the shoulders of desire
Crossing the line
Made in the sand
Playing my cards, one at a time
Until there are none and the day is done

Colliding thoughts embrace my heart
Caressing touches upon my soul
Holding fast, the memory
Of
Once upon a time
Allowing the image of dreams to come
Then drifting away before I can see
Today is no different than any other day
Only the pieces of the game have changed

When a slice of nature shows up in your view, you can only step back in awe that we are surrounded by such amazing creations. How lucky to have such a variety of life touch our life and be captured with our lens. I listen carefully to your words, a living wave of positivity.

So much to do, not enough hours in my day. Slow down, you're moving too fast.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted... Ecclesiastes 3:1

I love the book of Ecclesiastes, full of knowledge and wisdom. And as for a time for everything, I will live because I was born before I die. I'll not sit on my life wishful it'd been this way or that way, for time will fly past only to wake up to the realization that I never lived but wished.

For some reason, Random Acts of Kindness were in my thoughts today. It has never been about the money it costs, it can be something that is freely given from the heart. It has been harder to toss one about with the pandemic, but, toll bridges and Starbucks have made the top of my hit list. Have you ever been on the receiving end of one?

In keeping with the Christmas Countdown, I give you one seasonal picture and the day count! There are 71 days 23 hours 17 minutes and 27 seconds.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

The Naming of Cats

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

I'll not sit on my life wishful it'd been this way or that way, for time will fly past only to wake up to the realization that I never lived but wished.

Now it is even more sad to think that many people spend their entire life in hoping and in wishing things or circumstances. I know people, who are listening to "the future will be better" message from the politicians for more than 40 years, and they still believe, they still hope, they still wish.

Once a complete stranger invited me for the McDonald's for two hamburgers, some chicken nuggets and a drink, before he transported me and my bird with a car to another settlement, when I needed temporary relocation for my bird (we took my Harris's hawk to one of my falconer friends for approximately three months, who lives in Pest county, while I live in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county). He done both of these things for free, without asking anything for return, and when I offered some money to him, he refused. By the way, another complete stranger helped me to arrange this whole thing.

That is exactly what I'm talking about! Just these small little things made a lot to someone who needs them. For me to take some time out of my day doesn't really cost me anything but time, but it might mean a lot more to somebody else. When a person can make somebody else's day oh, I can guarantee you that it makes their day also. I am glad that you have had some good experiences. I hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you always for taking the time to visit.

A beautiful thoughtful posts
I think sadly too many in today’s society have come to expect and feel they are entitled to instant gratification

If only they could learn the feeling one gets of satisfaction is even stronger when one has to put an effort in

As fir receiving a random act of kindness I do remember one driving up to the window at a fast food place and the car before had paid for my order
I felt bad in a way that I didn’t need it so paid fir the person after me

But it niggled at me that there are people needing help move than me and the person behind me at the drive in

So I went to a super market and bought some supplies and dropped them off at a food kitchen near to where I lived at the time

Yes, I guess there's nothing more irritating than the expectation of it all. Maybe because I feel like I've worked pretty hard for when I've got and I have no idea where the expectation comes in.

As far as the guilt for the random acts of kindness, I think perhaps you need to reprogram how you think about it. Random acts of kindness is not necessarily for someone who is in great need, but rather to do something kind for another. It can also mean doing something for someone who needs it but, who is to say that you shouldn't have something nice done for you just because you can afford to do it yourself? Sometimes people just want to do something for another person, having nothing to do with affordability. You are so used to doing for others that you deny yourself the joy of receiving. Of course I could have it all wrong but I have been on the receiving end and at first I felt a little guilty, like you did oh, but then I learned to enjoy it for what it was. A kind gesture and a way of sharing Goodwill among men. Have yourself a most amazing day and you are right because I never stopped giving to my food pantries. That's a whole other ball game!

your post is a nice chance to remember that all has its right time, and we really must slow down...
btw do you notice time is TOO fast now, much faster than early?
Now 1 hours flies like 20 min for me. I look at the clock - it's really 60 min passed, but I have a feeling it's much much faster. And not only me have this feeling. What about you?

Oh, yes! Time flies, except for the long cold winter. Then it slows down again. :)

All we can do is play the cards we have been dealt.

I once warranted a guys car battery and he owned a pizza shop and set me up for a nice free pizza. Thats as close as I ever got to a random act of kindness. Perhaps it is because I go to Speedway instead of Starbucks?

A nice free pizza is awesome. I don't think I ever got a pizza... and you know how I love my pizza! I don't think it has anything to do with Speedway vs Starbucks. Random Kindness doesn't favor one over the other. That would be Denise that does.

You know I cannot drink Speedway! Is that the one with the big bucket size cups?

Certainly!! Each time someone makes a choice to use my TAG, community, whatever you want to say... I am on the recieving end of more than just monetary rewards. I am allowed to participate, in a special memory, thought, or moment.

Time travel, does indeed exist. It's how we perceive it... Wonderful post... thank you for sharing this with us ✌
