Falling for You

It has come. In all of its glory, the autumn has arrived, leaving no leaf behind. There was conversing with my soul, calling out the destiny of her demise, to be beautiful. She is, so beautiful to me.

Please take me far and away
From all that makes sense
To that place
Where it can be
Just you and me and the mystery
Of life
The song of your words in my ear
Blowing so close; I feel your breath
Sensing my need
To sleep, sleep, sleep

The scent of autumn favors you, the beauty is embellished by the stirring of my heart, the changes, falling into the seasonal changes, awaiting the reward of rest, until the renewal, once again.

It can be so capricious, this thing called fall, coming in waves rather than a calendar change. While some lay barren already, most have kept the green, slowing making the seasonal shift.

leaf.jpg

There is an air of consolation in the air, lessening the blow of moving from here to there, giving over to the magnificence of color, letting the sumptuous jewel tones take over.

Even in the colors of a different rainbow, it is #alwaysaflower to me. There will always be a flower to color my world.

red_rover_2.jpg

Lest you forget, Autumn is here. I welcome the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and I have no doubt, we will wish it to stay longer.

I knew before I saw you
Your brush will color the turn
The warmth of summer into fall
From the tallest on the top
To the very bottom of them. I can breathe
Fresh air, once, all over again

red_rover.jpg

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

And just like that, this post is over. Come back tomorrow and we'll do it again. Have a most amazing day!

Golden years, golden times and all memories glittering in fusion with feelings of seasonal change.

Yes they flow out and warm us, comforting in the knowledge we have gained, always a flower to bring brightness and joy back into the fold.

You know @dswigle
I for the longest time was so-so about flowers, but since you
I just look at them differently
You make the so magical
That 4th pic - I starred it for a good while
And that 3rd one too - I hear so much about autumn...that pic made me feel it <33

I am so glad I could bring you over to the dark side!!! ❤️ Hehehehe
It is funny how I never thought much about them until I started taking pictures of them and suddenly, I wanted people to see them as I did. Splendid, beautiful, even in their demise. It is magic! (thank you for that comment, it surely made my day!)
If you could feel anything, my job is done here!
You really did make my day with comments like this! Thank you! 💖

It is going very well already!
I took the day off!
I feel less pressured.
And if I have time, I think that I'll bake a cake!
Using the 6-inch pans of course!
Hehe😊❤️

I want to give three cheers for a day off! Talk about satisfying! A Monday, no less! Good for you and of course, stress less.

Isn't baking with those six inch pan so much fun? I have more fun baking with them than a regular cake. They're just so stinking cute! Well enjoy your day off and I want to see that cake!

Thank you so much for your kind words. :)

This is such a colorful time of year and everything is giving that last hurrah before it goes into the winter. I must say that in many ways it reminds me of the spring when everything is renewed and energetic from that long winter rest.

I hope you have an amazing day!

I never thought about it being similar to spring but you're right it is kind of like spring in that regards.

The flowers are bright and uplifting. They start the year from spring to late autumn. They bloom even in winter. Autumn is also bright, but after it winter, cold ... I do not like cold. In general, any time of the year is beautiful in its own way.

Autumn is such a beautiful transition, to end the summer. Some have not had such a nice fall so far, not enough rain makes the leaves a little bit lacking in color, for some of the areas.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your words! Thanks for the wine and LUV!

Beautiful words and gorgeous pics. I have always liked autumn colors. Although I live in a country with a tropical climate where the seasons are only rainy and dry.

Thank you. I do like autumn, although summer is my season. :) I appreciate the words. Where do you live?

I am too warm-natured to be able to live in the tropics. Sadly.

I often wish this too. From Hungary to a place, where the climate is either mediterranean or oceanic, so there are no cold winters. Although the financial discrimination is a bigger problem in this country, so this would be the main reason to leave.

Lest you forget, Autumn is here. I welcome the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and I have no doubt, we will wish it to stay longer.

Definitely. As long as it is possible. At least where I live. I would love warm winters, for example what it is in the various parts of Spain.

I give you some !PIZZA.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings from Hungary.

My winters are usually cool, but, not freezing and usually no snow at all. It is the perfect mix for me. Probably why I live here. Spain is wonderful, especially Andalusia in the winter, but, the politics make it so I don't want to live there.

There are politics everywhere though. Thank you for the pizza!! Hello from Washington, DC! Have a great day!

The politics (and the financial discrimination) is even worse in Hungary. Actually probably the worst in Europe. We (Hungarians) pay the highest tax percentage (27%) in the whole European Union, while we have one of the lowest (if not the lowest) salaries. And this is just/only one problem from the many.

I wasn't disputing that fact. I just said that Spain has its problems also.

Yes. I understand. Probably every country has some kind of problems. The absolutely perfect place is (currently) not in this physical world. Maybe never will be. Only God knows why this world is like this. The whole nature is based on cruelty and/or suffering. Animals (have to) eat each other to survive. Only God knows why. If God loves his creations so much, then why create such a cruel world? Or why not change it for the better? Only God knows why. Why do the creatures have to suffer? Only God knows why. I hope that we will get the answers for everything. Many NDErs (Near-Death Experiencers) claim that they knew the answers for everything, while they were out of their physical human bodies.

You are in the UK! It is just doing its job! Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, right up until everything is all nekkid and the wind is blowing.

Phoenix is sounding pretty nice, once again. :) I will let those leaves drop down and then blow them in a pile and rake them up or mulch them. One of the other.

Thanks for stopping by and just keep that rain to yourself!

Nice pictures, will be sad to see fall gone, it's hinting it's last days here. We already had a good frost and built a fire a couple nights this week.

I love the color of those skinny red maple leaves, is that a Japanese maple, or what is that?

0

It is a Japanese Maple, and the perspective makes it look a bit skinnier than it really is. The color is amazing, all year long. Now, it is mottled, yellow, green, and red, and it seems to change all through the season. I have two and I really love them.

I was in Connecticut a little while back and it looked pretty much peaking then. It always seems to come too quick and leave even faster. My family says New England is brisk right now, but, they are loving it!

Yes, love those trees. We've had a couple good frosts here, so winter not far away. I'm guessing snow will start early sometime next month. That's going to be pretty here with the trees as well.
