Lost at Sea with Market Friday

Good morning from here, lost at sea somewhere in the Caribbean. Unfortunately, I have had the sketchiest internet possible and even missed my own deadline for posting a new #MarketFriday. I hope you have all been doing well. I am off to a market later in the morning, needing some local spices that I cannot get home. Hopefully, I will come away as a winner.

Despite being far and away from home, it hasn't been all bad. Okay! I am kidding! It has been so very nice and makes one think twice about life and living...and how we look at life. The islands in the Caribbean are a perfect example of it. There is no doubt that living like this is a good life, but despite all those trappings, I think that life would feel good all around me. For me, it is the people that I come in contact with every day. I truly believe that you can feel the heart of goodness when you come in contact with it. It radiates.

My sincere apologies for the lack of communication, life is awesome, but, the internet is not. I have missed putting comments on many posts, something I truly enjoy doing. I have stressed over it and had to be content with being able to read them, Only minutes ago, I slid into port, and made a little hotspot for my computer before I go ashore. I hope everyone has been doing well and life has been good.

The experience of having a chocolatier onboard has been interesting to stroll by and watch them in their open workspace. You can see some of the confections displayed on the right.

It is all about the sea for me. If you live near the water, you know what I mean. There is something alluring about it. For me, it is a healing balm to my soul. Have you ever felt so in tune with your surroundings that you simply blossom with new life, right before your very eyes? You just cannot buy that.

I have a small boat waiting on me, but I wanted to touch base with all and say that I miss all of my #MarketFRiday people! I will be back later today, bearing spices and vanilla, the good kind from here!
