I've heard that you can cultivate more dreams and remember more dreams if you keep a journal. I remember very few as it is. When I do remember something, it is often like a shadow. I remember the feeling of the dream more than anything that actually happened. And as soon as I try to get ahold of it, it slips away!
I agree with you there!! The feeling of the dream is more of what I get. It is weird that you put it that way, but, yes! That is exactly what it feels like.
I have never tried to keep a journal, but, it might be an interesting experiment. (Who has the time to actually do that??) Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your words!
I was thinking of you, @dswigle, and this conversation. Because I woke up this morning remembering a very vivid dream, and that has not happened in the longest time! Maybe just talking about it helped. Ha ha.
Oh girl ... dream do I ever. To be honest I think I may spend more time dreaming than in deep sleep.

Dreaming is also my field. I lived much of my life daydreaming and now nightmares are more and more like SF movies. I can say that we have a parallel life, when we dream real life is a dream in a dream.

Dreams...hmmm...I believe are the thoughts or sequences that we intend to sail into in subconscious state or even in our conscious state...perhaps things/actions/activities/beliefs that we create a web of in our mind all the time...and I do that pretty often...even during the day and ofcourse while i am in sleep...though deepsleep is one such state when i am too damn tired and probably get into something or very unusual...and i call then rare dreams...sometimes good sometimes bad...make me wake up even at midnight or early morning !
Its strange, like our other things...some of us, do remember their dreams too!
Are dreams, our unaccomplished desires, fears or wants...!? that we dare share with anyone in general or in public and perhaps keep some as our secrets.

Hi, Amit! @amitsharma Oh, those dreams!! They will slip away when I am not looking, or more a fact, when I am trying to look and see what they mean... They slip right through my fingers.
I tend to wake up if I am having a troubling dream. I can't figure out why I woke up usually, but, feel unsettled, so I figure it must be a dream.

When I dream, I usually remember. I would say that I don't dream too often!
But hopefully, when I do they'd be good dreams.
I can write prose and poetry about it!

Oh, you lovely woman. You float around here like a book of poetry. I always thought I remembered, but, when it is claimed we dream 4-6 times a night, I know I don't.
I used to dream a lot more or I remember them more. Nowadays, I am so exhausted that I haven't a clue! :))

I woke up from a dream the other night fighting of some monster that hand a firm grip of my arm and trying to take me away to a place i wasn't ready for very scary it was 😱
Dreams are my escape, seldom they are bad. Most often regressing to my much younger days when I was not burdened with adult responsibilities. My favorite are those with my Father whom I miss so much. He lives there in my dream world.
