Trees on Tuesday, Eclectic and True

I can nearly see you
Deep inside my heart
Where dreams live that I haven’t dreamt
And when I do, I shall never forget

My thoughts are framed in a space that keeps them contained, little scraps of paper, here and there, notes on my phone, emails to myself, until one day I pick one up and let it go, giving life to words that might make sense.

Some days, you may not realize it, and take it for granted, believing that is the way life is. Do you realize? We have it so good. We enjoy it so much. We express it so little. It can make your heart shine like the stars in the universe. The most beautiful feeling in the world. When life is so good, you forget when it wasn't. ❤️ Like the tree, when life dealt it lemons, it found a way to make it work. It made lemonade. I may not have perfection, but, somehow it makes it work.

I adore the beauty of our world, the uniqueness of nature, and the sacred scents of the earth. Oh yes, how I love thee. It is with such pleasure that I put out some trees, some flowers, and a few things that don't go with anything else. Possibly eclectic- it's true! It is such a pleasure to join in #TreeTuesday with @old-guy-photos. Show me your trees!

Trees play a key role in capturing rainwater and reducing the risk of natural disasters like floods and landslides. Their intricate root systems act like filters, removing pollutants and slowing down the water’s absorption into the soil. This process prevents harmful waterslide erosion and reduces the risk of over-saturation and flooding. According to the UN Food and Agriculture Association, a mature evergreen tree can intercept more than 15,000 litres of water every year. Source

Flowers and trees, a match made by Mother Nature. Flowers. Always. To color my world. #alwaysaflower I like the beauty of the older presented in focus with a hint of the new blurred in the background. Everything is beautiful - in its own way, n'est pas? I notice not the beauty fading in the landscapes, for there are others to take its place. It only becomes apparent when it starts to fade en masse, no longer allowing it to fade into oblivion. We are still with the summer, but I am sure there are those looking forward to it going away, bringing forth the cooler temperatures. I say to allow everything in its own time, Mother Nature knows her job.

Clouds make the best backdrop to almost any day, dotting the sky, or waving their palms in the breeze, saying goodbye. How can we dispute our love for the tree, wherever it's planted, wherever it be? Hail the loveliness of trees!

One thing that I loved about traveling out of the country was seeing how unafraid the rest of the world is of color! The French West Indies, the island of Martinique. It looks more crowded than it really is. But, the colors! Eye-popping wonderful. There is a certain peace and uninhibited joy that surrounds all of these areas, one neighborhood running into the other. The good life. Making the best of everything. In case you didn't recognize it, this is my eclectic. Nothing to do with anything, yet, it needed to be said.

I say that and then remember that we have our own special way of celebrating the colors in our world. We simply allow Mother Nature to have her way with us. She does, and we enjoy the explosion of color. Color my world, won't you please? Sometimes it is merely understanding the world and enjoying the moments as they come. The simplest gesture can give you the greatest pleasures in life. You have to give it to yourself some days. Let life have its way, on occasion, you just have to let go.

Let the sun shine in on your life
So the joy may touch your soul

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Life has many flavors and tastes. It's nice to enjoy the shapes of nature
If all life is sweet, you will not find your pleasure with it.

Lovely trees and flowers 🌹

As a realist, I would have to say that it would be near impossible to have life be always sweet. :) But, I understand what you mean. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your words.

Have a great day!

I like human to be like trees that take in CO2 and give off oxygen that benefits people. When you provide the best interests of others. Your heart is getting brighter and brighter.

Your picture choice reminded me that despite the rain, I don't mind Autumn :)

Hello Denise

My my, those autumn colours you found are to die for. So beautiful. It's the best time of the year now to see such a mix in one leaf, it's like a pain palette all it's own. I love it.

I think we can all learn a lot from nature's lemonade stand!

Those were in my files, waiting to be here. We are still in the dog days of summer, but, autumn is right around the corner.

Doesn't she have the best lemonade?

Hope you are doing well today! Thanks for stopping in!

So cool of you to do a Tree Tuesday. I have been slacking on it as well, but got one up today.

We are really having to learn how to make do and carve out a bit of enjoyment in a world that is not as fun as it once was. Thanks to your posts, we all get an extra dose of sun and fun in our lives!

Just think, those Fall colors are right around the corner!

Isn't that the truth! These were in autumn files, but, couldn't resist putting a few in to chill me. We are still in the dog days and you know how we always want what we can not have.

Exactly.

Happy #TreeTuesday! It was a warm one, but, all the same, pleasant.

All the trees make me think of the one we just saw up in Munising, MI. It's part of the pictured rocks lake shore and it is out on a point by itself. Then the roots go back over a gap to the main land. It's pretty crazy to think it has survived this long!

My sister-in-law works in Munising, at the Town Hall. :) Small world, yes? Pictured Rocks is stunning. I don't remember the tree but I will have to look the very next time I go. Trees are so resilient, aren't they?

I hope you are having a great day! Happy Hump Day!

Yeah, they definitely are. The tree is out towards the far end of the rocks. It was one of the last things we saw on the boat tour.

Nature's colour is so energising, just a little walk outside onto the beach, the grass and under the trees is all we need to feel an extra little bit of zing again.
Your posts are always joyful reaching out to one and all in their homes who grab the joy so gratefully.
Love to you Denise (@dswigle)🧡

I really like seeing the pictures of those leaves no-longer-green. It's a nice reminder that fall is soon to be upon us, which is my favourite time of the year. I am pleased.
