Walking where the Symphony Plays

The rain, she cometh, not by choice but chance. Not a word was heard, the noise is white, and imagined is the drip of drops, falling off the Maple tree. I can only see that the picture, so gentle and soothing. And the words prompt emotion that lies dormant and untouched.

Cover me with a blanket of your memory
Where beads of rain are engraved on my soul
Whisper softly into the wind
Caressed by morning light

This image should have its own verse, yet I leave it to stand on its own. I like the drops of moisture on the petal, allowing me to guess it or not. Sometimes, I see a picture, words can be used - leaving me to imagine more, hanging in the balance, an image that is equally as delicate. Not this one, but, we can imagine.

The coneflowers are all aglow with loveliness. Flowers. There must be flowers. Always. To color my world. #alwaysaflower. Some days, they are like a sunrise, all by themselves. Have you ever known something that opens up the stage of your day?

Somewhere
A symphony plays
The strings of my heart
Harmonizing
Nature
Music to my eyes

The color of your nature is like music to my eyes.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

And then, the sky opened up and poured down, ruining any chance of walking any longer. It is such a pleasure to join #WednesdayWalk by @Tattoodjay. And just like that, this post is over. Come back tomorrow and we will do it again. Without rain. Mayhap.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
