Alors, Winamp ok mais pour en faire quoi face aux monstres Spotify et autres ? Quel est le modèle envisagé pour monétiser cette application? | L'idée de Llama Group serait de proposer un modèle disruptif visant à rééquilibrer le rapport entre les artistes et leurs fans. Depuis l'apparition des grandes plateformes de diffusion de musique, ce rapport s'est déséquilibré au profit des majors et, au final, seuls les artistes les plus connus vivent de leur art. Winamp propose une plateforme technologique destinée à aider les artistes de la production musicale à distribuer leurs contenus et à générer de nouveaux revenus sur la plateformes digitale. La société regroupe les contenus vidéos, les éditorialise et les distribue sous forme d'abonnements au profit des musiciens mais se rémunère en prenant une part des abonnements sous forme de commission : environ 15%. Le modèle semble convainquant de prime abord à condition d'avoir un nombre d'artistes inscrits conséquents et d'attirer un flux d'abonnés importants. Les musiciens et chanteurs pourront ainsi proposer de souder leur communauté autour de contenus privilégiés dédiés à leurs fans tout en ayant la possibilité de mieux monétiser leur talent. La question qui se pose est de savoir si des fans sont prêts à payer un abonnement pour suivre leur artiste préféré. Autre piste astucieuse de Winamp est le lien avec les NFT musicaux puisque la nouvelle plateforme prendrait en charge ce format. | Llama Group’s idea would be to propose a disruptive model aimed at rebalancing the relationship between artists and their fans.
