avatar

Hi guys!

I am thrilled to have another moment to share my splinterlands battle report with the theme monster for this week: NERISSA TRIDAWN. I will continue to thank the splinterlands team for this creative weekly contest which has helped me discover great gem cards that one should look out to buy for an interesting gaming experience in splinterlands. The terms for this edition of battle challenge are as follows:

Edition: CHAOS LEGION

Rarity: EPIC

Element: WATER

Attack: MAGIC

Abilities:

Please meet NERISSA TRIDAWN

NERISSA TRIDAWN is not your regular splinterlands monster. Without special abilities, yet she rocks with beauty and so much strength and passion to defend Praetoria and its inhabitants with all she's got.

NERISSA TRIDAWN is an epic water monster unit is from the Chaos Legion card set with the following characteristics:

Manna cap: 9
Ability: Nothing
Estimated Power: 100
Speed: 2
Magic attack: 3
Health: 9

The monster unit has awesome attack and defensive stats that makes her truly serve as a warrior she is.

Tell us about your lineup

Since NERISSA TRIDAWN is a water card, I decided to use it in battle with all playable water summoners at my disposal. I battled with both Frendul & Bortus Summoners to know the most effective strategy for the theme card. Below are the line-up for the battles.

A. NERISSA TRIDAWN with Kelya Frendul Summoner

Position 1: NERISSA TRIDAWN (magic attacker with no ability)
Position 2: Goblin Chariot (Range attacker with no ability)
Position 3: Deeplurker (Melee attacker with Opportunity ability)
Position 4: Ice Pixie (Magic attacker with flying ability)

Did your strategy work?

It was really an intriguing battle with NERISSA TRIDAWN. I had lost several battle already before winning these set of battles reported. Those lost battles were used to know which were my best of cars to be combined with NERISSA TRIDAWN. I discovered that NERISSA TRIDAWN would need the company of a strong melee attacker like Deeplurker with opportunity ability and Ice Pixie for an added magic and probably a ranged attack monster.

Yes, I would say. My strategy was just fitting. Keeping NERISSA TRIDAWN at the battle front allows her to to launch attacks to monsters destroying their healths directly. Deeplurker on the other hand is positioned last to look out for the enemy monster with the lowest health to hit down.

I would gladly use that strategy again and again if I have the opportunity. NERISSA TRIDAWN is a strong character especially with its magic attack element.

What will you try differently next time?

May be I'll try using NERISSA TRIDAWN with all ranged attackers and with all melee attackers.

My likeness for NERISSA TRIDAWN is basically for its magic attack element and for its high health count . Thank you for your time on this read. Hopefully will share a win battle with NERISSA TRIDAWN.

PS: The card was rented and will be used for the next 7 days.
