Why sometimes, when we create a project with so much love—pouring dedication, hope, and anticipation into it—we let someone else tear it down due to a lack of responsibility.

Or was it simply us who gave others the power to destroy what we’ve built?

Don't Quit!

As always, a big hello to everyone who’s part of this community. Today, I want to talk about this chair—I’m not sitting here watching the rain fall on this wonderful, beautiful project we’ve called DUO.

The tokens and dividends that once united us are now driving us in different directions—I don’t know if it was due to abuse, or if the platform itself is generally falling apart and we’re paying the price, or if there were simply personal differences among us. Whatever the reason, I believe these projects should never be abandoned.

And I say this with all the authority I have, since four years ago I was also part of a great project to which I dedicated a lot of time; I had the support and friends from Skatehive, a project through which we planned to build a small skate park—something I still hold dear and hope to bring to fruition someday, to give my community the chance to grow and gain experience, and, of course, to continue promoting the sport, the culture, and community development.

This was one of those projects that got canceled due to a lack of commitment, seriousness, and responsibility.

I’m already losing sight of the fact that these projects aren’t about just one person, but about a group, a community, and a sense of brotherhood—even more so when we’re talking about something cultural like this sport.

The plan was super simple: to have enough users to keep the app running consistently, which would lead to the approval of the project to build this park. But it simply fell apart due to a lack of commitment from my friends—because I also faced the same problems they did: no electricity, no internet signal, and no way to pay for repairs—we had broken phones—and that’s why these projects were canceled. But as you can see, perseverance is worth a lot, and that’s why I’m still here today. I hope that all of you who are taking a break right now will soon get your projects back on track and keep moving forward.
