Haciendo mi propio colgante de madera a mano / Making my own wooden pendant by hand (ESP/ENG)

¡Hola de nuevo amigas y amigos de Hive! Ayer me anime a hacer mi primera obra tallada en madera, Un colgante de dragón, siempre quise hacer mi propio diseño de dije para un collar, y escogi un dragon por que para mi son criaturas asombrosas y poderosas. había pensado mucho de que forma podría hacerlo, estando en Pinterest ( una pagina de descubrimiento visual) vi algunas esculturas y obras hechas por talladores, fue cuando se me ocurrió hacerlo con madera. los invito a que me acompañen a ver como fue el proceso de hacer a este pequeño dragón, ¡vamos a comenzar!

Hello again friends of Hive! Yesterday I was encouraged to make my first work carved in wood, A dragon pendant, I always wanted to make my own pendant design for a necklace, and I chose a dragon because for me they are amazing and powerful creatures. I had thought a lot about how I could do it, being on Pinterest (a visual discovery page) I saw some sculptures and works made by carvers, that's when it occurred to me to do it with wood. Materials

Prensa, serrucho, trozo de roble blanco, navaja, Punzón,barniz, cordón, broche redondo, broche de garra, silicon
Press, saw, piece of white oak, knife, punch,varnish, cord, round clasp, claw clasp, silicone

Proceso/
Process

Para conseguir la madera, Le pedí consejo a un carpintero sobre que tipo de madera debía usar, y el muy cordialmente me regalo una rama de madera de roble blanco que provenía de su propio árbol. El primer paso fue colocar el trozo de madera en una prensa pequeña de modo que no se moviera para córtalo con un serrucho, el pedazo quedo midiendo 2,8cm de alto y 1,3cm de ancho.

To get the wood, I asked a carpenter for advice on what kind of wood to use, and he very cordially gave me a branch of white oak wood that came from his own tree. The first step was to place the piece of wood in a small vise so that it would not move to cut it with a saw, the piece was left measuring 2.8cm high and 1.3cm wide.

Luego tome la navaja y fui pelando y quitando pequeñas porciones poco a poco hasta dejar el trozo plano por encima. siendo mi primera vez lo hice con concentración y cuidado.

Then I took the knife and I was peeling and removing small portions little by little until leaving the piece flat on top. Being my first time I did it with concentration and carefully

Una vez plano empiezo a tallar en el pequeño trozo la figura del dragon empezando por la cola, con el punzón quito varios pedazos de madera al alrededor de la parte inferior de abajo y con la navaja le empiezo a dar forma. sigo haciendo esta figura a diferentes horas del día.

Once flat I begin to carve the figure of the dragon in the small piece starting from the tail, with the punch I remove several pieces of wood around the lower part below and with the knife I begin to shape it. I keep making this figure at different times of the day.

¡La forma del colgante ya esta lista! Ahora falta darle color, yo había probado dos colores distintos, Anaranjado y barniz Algarrobo, personalmente me gusto mas como le quedo el barniz Algarrobo así que ese fue el que le deje. luego de pintarlo le pegue un broche redondo y pase a través de el un cordón con broche de garra

The shape of the pendant is ready! Now we need to give it color, I had tried two different colors, Orange and Carob varnish, personally I liked the way the Carob varnish turned out better, so that was the one I left. After painting it, I glued a round clasp to it and passed a cord with a claw clasp through it.

¡Hay lo tienen! mi primer colgante hecho con madera, yo me eh entretenido muchísimo haciéndolo, es algo nuevo que nunca antes había hecho, y para haber sido así, me quedo mejor de lo que esperaba, y aunque al principio no estaba segura de como iba a quedarme, todo salio bien, y lo mas importante es que no hubo accidentes, y a ustedes? ¿que les parecio? dejenme su respuesta en los comentarios y si se animan a hacer uno me gustaria verlo cuando lo terminen, nos vemos en otra ocasion.

Es muy bonito, has hecho un trabajo excelente! Me gusta el dragón en este color, yo lo llevaría con mucho orgullo si sabría hacer una cosa como lo has hecho tú.

Veo que no estás mucho por aqui, pero un pequeño consejo sería intenter interactuar un poco con los demás usuarios, te ayudaría en hive a ir para adelante con tu cuenta. :)

Siiiii, yo al principio no sabia si hacer un dragón o una serpiente, pero bueno, esta no sera la ultima vez que haga un dije, todavía quedan bastantes diseños que quiero hacer, 😊💕 ¡muchísimas gracias por tu apoyo!

¿Con metal?😮😮, ¡se oye asombroso! podrias hacer dijes/colgantes brillantes y muy atractivos con ese material. con madera tambien tienes mucha libertad de hacer varias figuras interesantes 🙂 si te animas a hacerlo te deseo mucha suerte ✌️💕
