Hi From Hive|| My Experience As A Nigerian On Hive Blockchain

avatar

When I count my blessings, I count them twice. Well, Hive Blockchain is the second. I joined the Hive Blockchain in August 2020, a period when everyone had given up that something good would come from the year. Boom! Like magic, hive was presented to me and I decided to take a chance. I was not a writer and never had a passion for writing, but looking at how bored being indoor was due to the COVID-19 guidelines, I decided to try it out, at least the Blockchain welcomed novice. The Hive ecosystem was more welcoming when I realise everyone can fit in not minding one's genre of writing. Initially, I joined hive to kill boredom, and the second reason, not to seem like one who rejects opportunity by a friend not until after a week of consistent blogging and learning that I realize there was more to it.

My first week on hive didn't seem discouraging, maybe because my initial motive wasn't revolved around the payout, I just wanted to write. After some weeks I made friends online who helped me and are still helping me blog effectively through the platform and as days went by, I started to know more about the platform and what it offers and its benefits, it was at this time that I started inviting my friends knowing I had something to tell them to begin with.

Hive Financial Communication
I never believed just writing could earn anyone money. I was used to the manual jobs that involved hard labor to get a penny. Making my first withdrawal seem like the unbelievable coming to life, I had to tap myself severally to be convinced it was real. Gaining this knowledge helped me to start working on being financially independent, I paid my license fee from the money I made on hive, supported my family when things went bad from hive money, bought a new phone from hive money, and supported myself financially until I graduated from school from hive money. I had continually used the money I make from the hive to pay bills, I was not wrong to have seen hive has a second blessing that happened in my life.

My Funny Experiences trying out gaming

I'm a lover of games, so, I decided to try the splincters land game on the Blockchain. All I remember seeing was you've lost, I didn't even know what I was supposed to do or how to fight back. I tried it a few more times and I got the same result. Blockchain gaming is so different from normal offline games and this is what makes it interesting, you lose before you even begin, wouldn't it be amazing to learn how to fight before a game begins?. I never played the game again, but the sphincter land game is what I look forward to learning.

Hive is bitter-sweet
Yeah, you read it correctly. My journey on hive has been great and at some point discouraging, the two moments always come. But I love the fact that I have connected to friends across Nigeria and international countries and have gained some skills in writing. I started with zero-writing skills but now I could at least write down my thoughts in simple languages.

Hive is a journey and a destination, all in one. It takes time to learn all the basics, find the right communities for your interests, build a following, etc. But it’s worth it! As you have discovered, the better you do at those activities, the better your rewards. And the fact that you have used money from Hive for all those things you mentioned demonstrates that those efforts are worthwhile. Keep writing, @dwixer!
