My Hive Growth: Beyond accumulating HP

My Hive journey especially in the area of growth hasn't been linear, except if the growth is focused on other areas outside building of HP. My growth has been more like the crypto market with the zigzag movement, fluctuating to and fro. I've had many personal factors that have hindered my consistent growth. At one point, I'll need to power down and at some point, I power up, and it goes the same way in a circle. I've celebrated my 3 years anniversary on hive with many achieved milestones which tells how much I've worked for the past three years, but then, there's no savings to show for it.

I'll focus more on the positive growths I have had outside of HP, which I believe is just a fraction of the overall aspect of growth. I remember joining hive, not as a writer, and I could barely compose a story. I wasn't sure if I'll cope with story writing, but the years of writing built me up with confidence to write a story that others consider to be great. The writing guide from the inkwell community was the foundation I built on and today I have noticed a significant change in that regard. I write fiction, horror, scientific, fantasy, and romantic stories seamlessly. I can't boast of being perfect but I've noticed a significant change.

My knowledge of cryptocurrency has also increased. I joined hive thinking anything related to online activities was a scam. This fear of the online world made me ignorant about cryptocurrency. I never knew there was an online currency that can be traded for fiat until I joined hive. Hive has made me see possibilities I may not have seen or believed if I didn't come across this platform and gain exposure about the crypto space. Now I can easily interact with web 3 and understand some concepts that still look strange to many out there.

I've met with new friends on the platform and with this, through discord I've been able to break out of my introverted nature. Now I can interact and socialize on a higher level than before.
