What would I say If I had 15 minutes to give a talk

There are times I have wished I could speak to a large crowd. I feel I have a message for the world and it can start with a group of people. I may not have lived for so long to have ultimate knowledge about life but I have noticed a trail of generations who are battling with depression. This depression most often comes as a result of misleading information they have about life or a subject in general. A scholar once said, the enemy of knowledge is not ignorance but an illusion of knowledge. Imagine a generation holding onto a wrong knowledge about life and passing it down to generations. Before the information revolution, money wasn't so important(In Africa to be precise), nor was it the top priority, people could farm, harvest and feed from their yields. People had no worries about living a luxurious life, they simply were satisfied with the three basic needs of man which are shelter, clothes , and food. But a lot has changed, people want to show off while putting unnecessary pressure on themselves. Some along the way lose faith while trying to take shortcuts, and others engage into immoral habits not because they're looking for shelter, clothes , and food but to enjoy other luxuries of life.

I have just 15 minutes to speak to these people, whatever I'm going to tell them should target the points and ensure it's a message that relates to them as individuals. Standing on the podium, dressed in a simple style and not so expensive wears, I'll start with the question;

Who has not changed from the way he was 5 years ago?

I know everyone would have noticed a change either financially or physically. I'll use this as my base to start with the topic, "Nothing is permanent". I'll hit on the point that nothing, be it the challenges, rejections , failures, etc is permanent. Life happens in phases, we only need to adjust our style of living to fit our current state. The message will be a message of hope that our current situation is just for a while and if only we walk on this journey with no compromise, the future will be better. I'll tell them how life is simple if we choose to live a minimalist lifestyle. I'll close the occasion giving examples of people who faced similar challenges but their persistence paid in the future.
