Beautiful Mushroom Dacryopinax spathularia and Gloeophyllum || Fungi Friday

avatar

Hi mushroom hunters, finally we have arrived today, which is Friday and we can see various types of mushrooms here in various interesting shapes and colors.

Today I also share here with some pictures of a mushroom of the type Gloeophyllum that I found growing on a tree that had been cut down.

This is "My Contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw". This mushroom really caught my attention, apart from the color and size but also this mushroom grows very much and even almost all parts of the tree trunk are overgrown by this mushroom.

In fact, I see that there are still a lot of mushrooms coming out of this fallen tree trunk. In the next few days, maybe almost all parts of this tree will be covered by these mushrooms.

I saw a lot of them and they grew abundantly, the light brown color with fine, velvety hairs on it added to the attractiveness of this mushroom.

Then my luck yesterday was to find another mushroom, namely the Dacryopinax spathularia mushroom which we also often call the Jelly mushroom. When this mushroom is dry it will look so thin and with a slightly reddish yellow color but when it is fresh and usually when it rains this mushroom will turn out to be very beautiful as seen in the picture I shared.

Even the color of this mushroom looks dazzling, I had to take multiple shots of it to get the clear picture I wanted.

Alright friends, this is my post this time, thank you for coming and seeing my post, I hope you guys like it. See You Again.

What a great color and shape of that Gloeophyllum! It's amazing how they "attacked" that old log...
Thanks for sharing your photos!
