A bountiful year

I am making this post a little late. Although it's not too late to show you how fruitful this year is. Experienced people say that if the year is fruitful, the next one will be difficult. Probably next year, and maybe the years after, will not be as fruitful as this one. Perhaps this is also connected with the current economic and political situation in the world. Basically, we'll see what happens. We hope it will be better.

Plums

In these photos, you can see how many Plums they produced this year. A few years ago, there were not even enough to eat, and this year there will be enough for the production of brandy.

Quince

Also, one of my favorite fruits - Quince, is slowly ripening and I can't wait to smell its wonderful smell in the house.

Figs

Then there are the Figs that we have been eating for several days now. We also have several jars of jam from them.

Apples

Then Apples. They are grateful. We make juice from them almost every year.

Grapes

Grapes, which have not yet ripened. But we are impatient, so sometimes we find a berry that is ripe for eating. We can't wait for it to ripen, I think we will make wine this year, and maybe also brandy.

Hazelnut

Then Hazelnut, which will come in handy as an addition to almost any cake. As well as occupation in winter days.

Peach

Of course, there is also Peach, which is very tasty. Now we see that maybe we don't have enough trees for our needs. We have eaten it so far, but it would be good if we also had brandy made from it. 😀

There's more, but I think that's enough for this post.

Nice harvest! This year, we had tremendous amount of apricots (Central Europe). Most of them ended up in barrels -> apricot brandy 😁
