RE: The Future of Onboarding Communities to the Hive Blockchain

How would it be far better on Hive/Leo?

If they HAVE TO BRING their audience with them then right there be THE PROBLEM.

HIVE account creation is a complete shitshow and no one is going to nanny their whole userbase through that nightmare.

Which is why people continue to put their content on platforms where a) there's already a large audience and/or b) is easy to create accounts and communities without relying on ONE PERSON (@khaleelkazi) to build a place that works at the most basic level that users are used to on internet.

Plus to look at things objectively: What Khal is proposing is essentially offering what's already on HIVE, but in a very limited, closed off corner of HIVE. Yet the growth of users even from Hive into Leo had flatlined.

So thinking that just an UI change is the solution is either not seen the real issue needing fixing.. or knowing of the issue but putting it in the 'too hard' basket.

Logic would also suggest, that if you expect UI to bring in high traffic then that 'too hard' problem is going to hurt LEO project potential.

It's called influencer marketing. They are paid to be active on the platform and engage with their community and others already on here. It holds a much higher retention rate then that of traditional marketing of ads. Stick rate is far higher as well.

A UI update wont solve anything but it helps. Easy onboarding and ease of use is critical for a platforms growth and success along with other aspects and one of them is having content creators that engage and provide content others want to interact with.
