I was looking for a song to cover and I decided to do this work of art. It is the best Nigerian breakup song in my books the whole of last year.

This is a Nigerian insult that expresses a wish for a person to be struck by lightning. I really don't know when it started but there is a flaw in the statement that we realize once we all grow and get to high school (When we have been using that statement for close to a decade) and that's that thunder does not strike anyone.
Thunder is the sound that lightning makes after it strikes but in order to use that information we would sound absurd now wouldn't it?
"Lightening fire you!"...so weird.
Even though lightning carries current it doesn't carry the weight the "ER" in THUNDER carries and makes for a better insult.
The lyrics
The song is a heartbreak song as I have already said. But it is not the typical kind of "you hurt me and I'm leaving" kind of heartbreak song.
I this one he places a curse on her saying he hopes she gets struck by lightning.
Even though in Bruno Mars' grenade he doesn't exactly express the same wish for her to be hurt, Ric Hassani says she's the daughter of the Devil just like Bruno Mars

Estaba buscando una canción para hacer un cover y decidí hacer esta obra de arte. Es la mejor canción de ruptura nigeriana en mis libros durante todo el año pasado.
Trueno te dispara
Este es un insulto nigeriano que expresa el deseo de que una persona sea alcanzada por un rayo. Realmente no sé cuándo comenzó, pero hay una falla en la declaración que nos damos cuenta una vez que llegamos a la escuela secundaria (cuando hemos estado usando esa declaración durante casi una década) y es que los truenos no despiden a nadie.
Trueno es el sonido que hace un rayo después de que golpea, pero para usar esa información sonaríamos absurdos ahora, ¿no es así?
"¡Fuego relámpago!" ... tan extraño.
A pesar de que el rayo lleva corriente, no tiene el peso que lleva el "ER" en THUNDER y lo convierte en un mejor insulto.

La canción es una canción de desamor como ya he dicho. Pero no es el tipo típico de que me lastimas y te dejo una especie de canción de angustia.
En este, le lanza una maldición diciendo que espera que le caiga un rayo.
Aunque en la granada de Bruno Mar no expresa exactamente el mismo deseo de que ella sea lastimada, Ric Hassani dice que ella es la hija del diablo al igual que Bruno Mar
