Carry Me Home is a song by Fun, it was released in 2014 as the fourth single from their second studio album, Some Nights. The song's lyrics and its music video, it talks about a man who is struggling with the consequences of his actions after committing domestic violence. The song's lyrics describe a man who is trying to come to terms with the fact that he has hurt someone he loves and is asking for forgiveness and a chance to make amends.

The song's lyrics are emotional and powerful and I think it fits into the theme, and it may be that the band was trying to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence and the importance of seeking help and taking responsibility for one's actions. It is also an encouragement for the victims to come forward and ask for help, to know that they are not alone and there is a way out.

It was one of my favorite songs at some point and I am glad to be presenting it to you…I think I messed up the songs name in the video but…I hope you can forgive me and I hope you enjoy it.

I think it is a melodic dose of reality, some people’s reality and as sad as it is, it just is.

La letra de la canción describe a un hombre que intenta aceptar el hecho de que ha hecho daño a alguien a quien quiere y pide perdón y una oportunidad para enmendarlo.

La letra de la canción es emotiva e impactante y creo que encaja en el tema, y puede que el grupo intentara concienciar sobre el problema de la violencia doméstica y la importancia de buscar ayuda y asumir la responsabilidad de los propios actos. También es un estímulo para que las víctimas acudan y pidan ayuda, para que sepan que no están solas y que hay una salida.

Fue una de mis canciones favoritas en algún momento y me alegro de presentárosla... creo que me he equivocado con el nombre de la canción en el vídeo pero... espero que podáis perdonarme y espero que la disfrutéis.

Creo que es una dosis melódica de realidad, la realidad de algunas personas y por triste que sea, simplemente es.
